I was screaming and calling Bill everything but a human person..... I was in LABOR with my son. Today is his birthday....

Why is it a woman NEVER forgets the hours of hard LABOR (except these days they get to skip the "pain" part). I'm getting ready for my annual call to the little idiot to REMIND him of the 14 hours I spent in HARD labor having him... (it's a mother thing -- the "get even" part -- I look forward to it each year... ;;D) With no antisetic - I just suffered thru it.... (and so did everyone else in the hosptial - they KNEW I was there!!!)

But I'd go thru it again if I had my druthers instead of a CH.... at least I have something to show for it.

Pain with a purpose is different isn't it? Mind you, the jury is still out for THIS mother on whether they are more of a pain before during or after birth! ::)

LOL, Barbara!!

I just said nearly the same thing to my OB on Friday (preggers I'm still getting hit)....at least with the pain of childbirth you get a prize! :)

Helen, IMHO, it's after - definitely after. Especially about 16 years after!

I THOUGHT it would get better after the "terrible" TWOs - then came the "terrible" TEENS -- ok, it'd get better in the TWENTIES - right -- wrong again -- so I waited for the THIRTIES ---

Maybe the FORTIES will be better.... :P
