Post by sassy_lady on Sep 10th, 2005, 10:00pm I'm going back on sat the 17 of this month to take more supplys & to bring people back here!! if any one would like to give for supplys & gas money up there , you can give here, & I can tell you that the people will get the stuff right away instead of waiting for it!! YOU HAVE MY WORD ON THAT!!! so if anyone would like to send money you can make check payable to GOD'S HOUSE and send it to 2206 11th St. W. Bradenton, Fla 34205 I will post pictures of the people that the money will help!! plus you will receive a tax return donation slip for your taxes!! we have 3 familys that are waiting on us to return on the 17th of this month already!! the radio station is playing our song to get the people to the church on time for us to pick up, & I have a week off to take people out of there, have 3 shelters ready to take people in & family are opening their doors for people & so are hotels in our city!! now that we have more contacts, churches working with us, we are better informed, we will bring more back, plus people will have a better understanding of the importance of getting out at this time!!! so we are going to make as many trips as we can in that week to get as many people out that we can!! so donations are needed to help with gas & getting these people set up once they are here!! The next thing that I want to add is that if you offered help, keep it up. If you have not yet, please do somewhere, you don't have to get involved in this effort, but please just help someone effected by this. In the beginning Everyone poured in Help & Support, but now that the Media has gone away and these people are trying to put their Lives & Families back togeather, some people are starting to forget.... This is going to be an ongoing Mission for Us & the Local Churches, we are going to be making several trips to the Gulf Port area.... The way I look at it is that no one never knows, it could be You or Your Family asking the same thing one day... Again... Thanks to Everyone for their Support & Prayer's God Bless Everyone Charlie |

I know what you mean, I cried alot there, not in front of anyone, yet alot with what I seen, the pictures just don't do it in these kind of things, the big picture just rips your heart out!!! my trip has been postponed, van hasn't been fixed yet, & the lord is showing my in many ways that the time is not right, other driver got hurt & can't go & don't have a replacement, & I'm not going alone or with just two women, need men in these things, just to be smart & safe!!! so trip will be on the 1st of oct. all this happened this evening on the info, & the only time I can go is every other week, so my free week from work starts the 1st of Oct. so I feel that the lord is protecting me from something bad there, so will let him lead me as he sees fit!! another church is leaveing monday, so will send supplys with them & get more in the next 2 weeks!! not going don'y know any of them & it's not my time, plus they are just taking supplys to drop off, they are not bring people back, & going to another area. talked to pastor & we prayed & I got a the answer I did from God that I was to wait!! don't know if everyone understands this, pray so. we will be making many trips for a while to help, the bus will be going every 6 weeks, the 16 passager van every 3 weeks. anyone donateing, the older people need depends, older clothes, denture paste, eye drops, pepration H, & things of these nature, they have been left out on the supplys, & infant water, (petedalite) the infants are geting dehidrated & dieing, these are the up dates that I'm getting from the 3 churches up there, called all tonite to tell them trip postponed, so we are getting more supplys for these needs tomorrow before the church leaves, if anyone has contacts, PLEASE give them the INFO!!!
