He's 15 today Minnie hun.  And I do remember that day like it was yesterday...minus the stiches and the brusing, and having to sit on a doughnut of course.

I remember clearly having been in labor for over 24 hours already, contractions wouldn't come regularly, and the only way I new one was coming was when my left wrist started to twitch.  I think I walked every hall on that floor 100 times over.  Mom brought my husband a sandwich to the hospital, and as he was helping me breathe I had to tell him to get out of my face his breath stunk.  Worst thing I said to him, I didn't swear once.  I did however growl at the Doctor when he grabbed my face and said to me "You can't push an Scream at the same time"   I just glaired at him and said "Watch me".

Then they laid this fragile little life in my arms and the warm September sun was shining bright threw the window, and the two of us fell quietly asleep.

September kids are great kids, I know cos I got one.

My son moved to the city late last year and this is the first year that he hasn't been home for his B/day in 31 years and I really missed that.
