In case you dont know - I work in a casino outside of Chicago. I'm off on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays. I watched the news for three days. Went back to work on Thursday.

Been having a hard time dealing to all these people pissing away their money - bitching about losing their 1000's of dollars....

I was dealing roulette on Thursday night. This guy was losing almost 4000.00. He was getting pissed.. but I wasn't in a talkative mood.
He looks at me and says... "Dont you even care? I am losing a lot of money here. Have a little sympathy lady!"
I said - "My sympathy is a little SOUTH right now. Your money would have been better spent THERE too."

I thought I was going to lose my job - if he would have gone and told my boss - I'm sure I would have... but the jack ass didn't even go tell anyone. He just colored up and left. The look on his face was a little anger - but a lot more of guilt, I think. ;)

THEN - I go to deal some blackjack tonight - and this guy told me that he is there with 500.00 of his own money - and he hopes to turn it into a lot more so he can donate it to the Red Cross.

THIS pissed me off too. People will do ANYTHING to make the dealer want them to win. I know damned well that guy wasn't even considering taking any of his winnings to the Red Cross.

He just wanted me to think he wasn't a heartless bastard there pissin away his money.
He didn't win. ;)

They said on the news today that gas prices and "guilt" were keeping people home this weekend. I guess some of the gamblers feel guilt too - so they need to lie and say they WERE trying to get MORE money to donate....
fukkin people!~

Hey, look at it this way, we're all a bit sensitive right now. Any other time, idiots like that wouldn't have bothered you. blow 'em off, they ain't worth the headache.

I agree.....I am a little PUNCHY myself.......and I am finding that the TRIVIAL whines and crap people try to flood my mind with are really pissin me off. Like freinds that want to corner me to 'talk about there relationship' here at home or complain about there jobs or even road conditions. My priority's have changed Pam
