Title: F**K IT! Post by kimmiedawn81 on Sep 2nd, 2005, 12:52pm OK, so I started weening myself off of the Inderal 120mg that I was taking and I increased the Verap to 240mg, and I started taking Lithium....but the Lith is besides the point. I am so fucking fucked up right now, my heart feels all weird and fluttery and the Verapamil is making me so sick, I can't fucking shit at all...I've taken numerous laxatives, fiber pills and some of that nasty Magnesium Citrate...all with little help! I am going crazy. I think I'm just going to switch back to the Verapamil 120mg and Inderal 120mg/day. And of course stay on the Lithium until my cycle is over. VERAPAMIL SUCKS! |

Yup. It plugged me up, hard. I had to take 2 of these: http://www.valu-rite.com/images/magnesium-citrate.jpg If the first one has not helped in 15-20 minutes, take a second. But be warned! Stay close to the toilet. TomM |

Title: Re: F**K IT! Post by Kim Y. on Sep 4th, 2005, 11:24am Lithium is a lot like sodium.....That is what your body mistakes it for....You should take in plenty of fluid 2000/3000ml per day. Dt. consistant with moderate soduim intake. If any cardiovascular diseases inform Dr. if fainting, irregular pulse or difficulty breathing occurs. Toxicity-vomiting, diarrhea, slurred speech, decreased coordination, drowsinessm muscle weakness, or twitching. Anyone on lithium should have blood levels checked frequently. Cardio vas side effect Arrhythmias Verap does cause constipation.... Verap with inderal can lead to additive myocardial depression (monitor pulse and B/P) Can have a Arrhythmia side effects. Inderal causes constipation as well. Some of the cardiovascular side effects cause arrhythmias, Slow Hear rate, congestive heart failure. Kim just a little bit of information I looked up for you the combo of two BP pills is why the constipation the fluttery of the heart could by arrhythmias so you may need to get these checked out and so the Dr. can make adjustments and do an ecchocardiogram to insure the rhythm of your heart isn't off. Hope this helps....Kim |
