For those clusterheads that live in or near Virginia and North Carolina, the OUCH race car will be in action this weekend, not once, but twice.

On Saturday night we'll be at historic Martinsville Speedway in Martinsville, VA for the Whelen "Made in America" 300. For further information see http://www.martinsvillespeedway.com/

Then on Monday evening we'll be at Ace Speedway in Altamahaw, NC for two 100 lap races. For further info see http://www.acespeedway.com/

Snake bit......again.....

After pitting early for tires, and leading a lap, we were running comfortably in the top 10 when we were spun by a car that was 53 laps down. [smiley=mad.gif] We finished 19th. Our luck has to change, but when? :-/

Today brings a long day of shop time prepping the car for Monday's races.

Sometimes I wonder why I do this for a hobby.....

Monday's race report......

We ran two 100 lap races Monday evening. Missed the setup in the first race......finished 7th.

We changed things around for the 2nd race.....and we were much closer to getting it right. Around lap 60, the left axle broke, putting us out for the night.

It's looking like we need a mojo or something.....sheesh.
