My Gucci has gone missing. He got out of the yard yesterday afternoon and we haven't seen him since. I am so upset. I have had him since he was 4 months old. :'( :'( :'( :'(

I'm sorry to hear this. My dog ran off last year, he was gone for 2 days and we thought the worst but at 3 am on the 3rd day he was scratchin at the door, smellin like a skunk.

I hope he comes home soon.

As Don mentioned, most dogs are microchipped now...if he is, you can call the shelter or wherever you got him from so they can track him...

Didn't you recently move ? Pets don't feel at home sometimes at first for a while in a new home......mite want to see if he is tryin to find his way back to the old house or at least headed in that direction......that has happend sevral times before. Micro chipping or tags are good for dogs that are found with intentions to be returned.....alot of dogs are being stolen rite now, esp pups out of pet stores. I came home from vacation in Nashville last year for the convention and found out a small young dachshund female was missing from my kennel......never did find her or find out what happen'd. Puppy powerless Pam

I hate to read this. Little creatures really get under your skin. I like the poster idea and I'd just keep patrolling every area you can think of.

HAPPY NEWS!!! Gucci has returned home!! We hadn't seen him since Wednesday afternoon and thought the worst. He had taken his collar off - he does that - and I thought he was gone forever. Well, we walked into Wal-Mart tonight to get some things we needed and Chris said let's look on the bulletin board and see if anyone happened to post a found dog. Lo and behold there he was! We called the number immediately and I explained Gucci to her and she went outside to the backyard where she had him and said his name and she goes "Well, I think this is him because he is jumping all over whenever I say his name." So we took off over to her house and there he was! She handed him to me and he licked my face all over and even got a good swipe of the tongue into my mouth! bleech!!! So he is back on his spot right now on the back of the loveseat. Content as can be. Thanks for all the responses. Gucci is safe and sound.

Glad you found your pup!!!

Good thing he's not a real GUCCI, otherwise you'd have to go to all the local pawn shop to buy it back!!! ;)
