Thanks you guys! I am much better today - just a few mild hits. I started on the Neurontin last Monday and it was going really well until the last few days when it was about an hour and a half before I was due to take it again I would start feeling the hits. I called the Dr. yesterday afternoon and they called back this morning and told me to up to 1200 mgs/day. So I started that today and the "drunk" feeling has returned - ::) - but I can handle that better than getting beat down by the beast. Hoping that subsides in the next few days and I will be happy as a lark again. I love not having the pain! It's been so long since I had a PF day! It's not stopping the hits I am just not feeling them! It's WONDERFUL! I know that it won't last forever so I am going to enjoy it while it does! :)

Be careful if ya have a beer or drink if yer feelin that 'drunk' type feelin on the med......I took it for other pain issues but geeze zo pete it caught me off gaurd when we were out and I had a beer one day. I couldn't walk by myself or stand very well......I'd stand and weave back and forth and people would STARE (more then usual I mean)......then I had trouble talking. I looked like the town drunk I am sure and I am only a social drinker. My doc took me OFF it. Stagger stumble slurr Pam

Btw, my cycle ended 3 days ago. I'm sure now. Even the shadows are gone and I've had 3 full nights of sleep in a row!

It feels like coming back home after being out of the country for a month (which I've done numerous times).

It's like, "Hey, what happened while I was gone?" [smiley=gossip.gif]

Anyway, thanks to everyone for the support, prayers, and good vibes.

Hope the beast moves out for everyone real soon. (He sure leaves a mess behind, though :o)
