I am now convinced that a soom lens is a need and not a want [smiley=laugh.gif]. It's crop dusting season here and although I got some decent shots and played with the pics, a zoom lens would have made a whole lot of difference.

I didn't notice my typo until I read your post ::) [smiley=laugh.gif]. I think I meant *zoom* not *soom*. When and if I get my ham radio rig sold, I will be buying a few more toys for my camera (like a flash).

What kinda camera you got? And what zoom lens is it that you want? Just may can get what you need.

Lemme know...you may just have that zoom lens before you thought you would.

I have a Canon EOS Digital Rebel 300D. The lens that I looked at was $250.00, so the price isn't bad.

I don't know the model number of the lens, but I think it's either a 70-200 or 70-300 (has to be autofocus).

The bottom pic of the plane in the blue is beautiful!
