Its not that i lied, i never said i specifically said i own a CJ or wrangler.......i just never said that my "jeep" was a grand cherokee.

Speaking of Jeeps....

My dad may be going up  to NYC today to get my brother's Wrangler - it died at Pier 40.

At least it went out in a blaze - I can't remember what exactly broke, but I think it has to do with some cylinder that runs just about everything.

My dad rebuilt that entire car as a surprise for my brother back in 2003 - same time they got me my laptop!  Too young for it to die!!

The poor jeepy...   :'(

We gots 2 more jeeps in the driveway, though - just not wranglers.  2 Grand Cherokee Laredos - one black, one silver.

We're jeep people.  (Except for me...who has a POS Sable....but that's a temporary condition!)

My "Jeep" is a Dodge Truck. Sometimes I use it to pull stranded Jeeps and an occasional Chevy out of a ditch.

My other "Jeep" is a 4-wheel drive Toyota

Highlander. It has a "snow" feature to lock all the wheels together during icy conditions. We have a lot of those in Vegas.  ::)

It doesn't have the snob-appeal of the Lexus or the Beemer but It's ok for now.

That sounds weird.  Most vehicles pitch their independant 4 wheels.  Yours locks all the wheels together?
What if you need power to transfer from the wheels that slip to the wheels that grip?

Giffy, when he got it, the thing was a rusted piece of crap. He restored it bit by bit, and did all of the work himself. It was amazing to watch this thing gradually transform over the months... The guy did top-notch work on it.

I got a 1990 Jeep Larado 4door in driveway with a blown head gasket  [smiley=huh.gif]  4 new tires (less than 50 miles on one tire), new brakes, solid exhaust, new CD player, power locks and windows, 83,000 miles so do I put the $300.00 to $500.00 into it to make it run OR just drive the car ?¿? Terry

BTW the car is a 2000 DAEWOO Lanos    :) LOL

LOL! Dual climate control: Turn the heater on and your feet fry, but the rest of you suffers frostbite.  The mirrors get tinted with mud. Power adjustable though: From the shoulder down.  [smiley=laugh.gif]
