How many weeks are you now?

I love baby stuff - but then, that makes sense. :)

There is a special thing about baby boys.  (I think I remember back that far anyway :-/ )

Took the kids to the school this afternoon and paid their fees for the year....what ever happened to FREE public education?  LOL

I'm kidding folks.  I'd rather pay a few fees than have them cut good programs.

You know...this is a really good point!  Now...most of the babies I take care of need a bit more than feeding and changing, but the 2 days I worked this week, I did not sit down except to scribble some half-coherent note in their charts at the end of my day!

As soon as one baby is done, the next one needs changing, feeding, etc.  One finally calms down, the other starts crying.  Baths are done on night shift, I come in to get a baby with a very FULL diaper that needs a bath in a desparate way...yet both kids are supposed to get care at the same time...so one gets done late while I'm giving the other kid a bath (and giving myself one in the process because babies sure know how to splash up a little yellow bin!).

Remember to get this one's formula out now, have to get this one's breast milk out of the fridge and start warming it up or else it won't be ready by the time I have to feed her.  Whew!

Don't be scared Bethany - just be glad you aren't having twins!!!  ;)

Babies really are the best. :)

True. They can shoot a stream of pee for 30 yards in any direction. Even as newborns.  ;;D You learn real quick how to get one diaper off and another on in a heartbeat.

 Congratulations !! the closest to a boy I had was my nephew.(that really doesn't sound quite right does it ? [smiley=ohjez.gif] what I mean is I have 2 daughters.
we waited until they were born to find out the sex.when I was being wheeled into the or(both c-sections) we were still trying to decide on boys names but already had April  Lyn's and Beth Anns names picked.I think Billy was also trying to keep my mind  off what was gonna happen.Being a mom is the most rewarding,hardest and most Joyful job you'll ever have.
Enjoy they grow up fast.....

  Minnie whos Baby will turn 7 on september 30th  :-/

All kids are special though and the most wonderful thing about them is they are yours. Everything else pales into insignificance  :) I love the names you have picked and I guess I should add some blue into this here blankie now huh?!

I just signed on this morning and saw all the replys, you guys are just wonderful!! Thank you so much for all the well wishes. When my husband found out he had a grin from ear to ear all day yesterday grabbed the pictures of the ultrasound and went running around showing EVERYONE. It was so funny because its not like him at all. We are so excited. Lizzie, your posts cracked me up... my brother has twins and I was sweating it let me tell ya.. LOL.
