Post by daniel_tn on Aug 26th, 2005, 2:26pm
i am on day 6 of not getting seriously whacked. i still have shadow stuff, but nothing i can't handle.
so, here's the stupid question:
does this mean that my cycle is over?
thanks,

not to sound too vague but you'll know. for me, if I'm  still feeling shadows it hasn't worked its way all the way through yet. Stay with your program and then one morning you'll wake up and "know".

good luck -- 6PF days is good though eh?

The kudzu could be keeping them down to shadows. So take your time... if you cut back on it and they return...you'll know it's not over yet. PF wishes, nani

There is no such thing as a stupid question when it pertains to CH.  Every question is important, even vital, and should be asked.

Now, on the other hand, there are some really STUPID questions on these boards, but they usually have absolutely nothing to do with CH.   ;;D

Glad you've had 6 PF days.  Hope your cycle is really over.  Like seasonalBloomer said, you will just "know".

Sandy

Here's to 7 days.

I posted twice that I thought my cycle ended, then WHACK! I got hit.

Best way to find out is drink a couple of beers. If you don't get whacked, you're probably good to go.

great to hear you've had six days painfree .
hope your out of cycle PERMANANTLY.I believe one
of the main reasons DJ did this website was to
share experiences, support and the knowledge that only you sufferers and  we supporters can offer.
        Best of luck,

thanks for all the replies and the support!
well, the f**ker fooled me.
i got whacked on my way to dinner!
all three cues hit, and then i knew i was getting it for sure.
so, i took an imitrex while driving down the highway.
i even dry swallowed the dang thing.. (sorry for over-sharing).
now that i know the cues and how they work, if i time the imitrex right, i can keep the thing down to a 4 or 5 and avoid the 9 or 10-level.
that's what happened.
yep, had a nice pint of heffeweizen before dinner, then a nice glass of red with dinner, and some coffee.
thanks for all the support, this is a fantastic site.
and, i think, what is really great about the web,.
heck, i've been into the "web" before it had graphics, it was called bbs way back then!
pf stuff to all!

Whatever is going on with you, enjoy the respite and it pays not to look a gift horse in the mouth when it comes to CH.

Actually when my cycles were on the way out, the attacks lessened in frequency and then I'd realize that I slept through the night without one. What a deal that was.

Let us know how yer doing.

Charlie

Daniel hang tough it's good to enjoy the painfree times that is what we live for!

And man, that is not a stupid question, we do not believe, on this site anyway, that there exists a thing like a stupid question and that just goes to show! :)

Six days is great but don't push things or get off schedule with your meds. too soon.  Give yourself some time to be sure the cycle is ending and have a discussion with your Doc. before stopping any meds.   Best wishes on your cycle coming to a close.

Tom
