I am so excited to be ABLE to have house guests! I am going to have a huge barbeque about the middle of October.... come on down, y'all!!! :-* - Karen Redd, the front porch is my favorite too!!! It has a porch swing.... I will be living on that front porch.... cup of coffee in the early morning with a cigarette and the newspaper. AHHHHHHH...... |

Open invitation to whomever would like to come on down! We love the fact that the yard isn't landscaped. We both like working in the yard and landscaping so I can't wait until the spring to get started. We are thinking about planting trees on either side of the sidewalk that will hopefully one day grow together and form a canopy. I've always loved that! |

You might want to consider throwing large groupings to one side and leaving the other side open for an open low scale garden. Symmetry and its asymmetrical companion assist to make the other shine. Study where your heat load from the sun may occure and let that assist you in a large scale tree location decissions. Have much fun. Steve G |

It's incredibly cool. I am buying it from a friend of mine and his mom bought the door at an auction and put on the house. It's so cool! We are going back through it after this weekend when they restretch the carpet and fix a few little things so I will take pictures of the inside. I can't believe that is MY house... or will be September 28! |

Get someone to build you a trellis (or build it yourself) and I'll send you several cuttings off my cherokee rose. It will cover the trellis in no time flat (you'll have to work to keep it trimmed). Believe it or not, even though it's a rose, it is an evergreen. It only blooms for about two weeks in the spring, but it is absolutlely gorgeous! Best thing about it is, you don't have to feed it or spray it, just keep it trimmed back.
