Title: 40 Year Old Virgin
Post by clarence on Aug 20th, 2005, 10:29am
Saw it last night, and wanted to let you all know that it is the funniest movie I have ever seen in my life.  Earlier this summer, I thought that Wedding Crashers was the funniest movie ever, but, in some weird way, 40 Year Old Virgin tops it.  If you need something to cheer you up, or lighten your mood...see this movie.

I know its cliche, but I laughed so hard I cried.  A little less cliche, I laughed so hard my wife was embarrassed and almost moved to a new seat.

Glad you enjoyed the movie Casey...

I thought the previews looked pretty hysterical too...

I'm looking forward to it myself.  [smiley=blush.gif]

On some level it just kills me that I thoroughly enjoy the same movies all you young guys like. But they are just so damn funny!!  [smiley=laugh.gif]

I'll have to go see it now... wish I'd done that last night

Do NOT see Deuce Bigelow: European Gigilo unless you want to vomit.

I watched 'The Village' this week end.

It had an interesting story but could have been done a little better. I enjoyed it.

Well that settles it.  My hubby is taking me for dinner and a movie for my birthday.  I was caught between Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (I love Jonny Depp) and "Virgin".  Guess I'll wait for Charlie on DVD.
Thanks for the buzz.

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory is FANTASTIC.  I loved this movie as well.  It is quite different from 40 Year Old Virgin, and a different kind of funny.  But it is great as well.

I wrote something up about it here: http://www.translucentbeauty.net/community/viewtopic.php?t=126

It's not bad, not great but not bad.

Glad to hear you liked it Casey... I saw 4 Brothers this past weekend, it was really good. You should put that one on your list...  ;;D

My daughter went to see it and she thought it was  *way over the top* (as in how many scenes do you need to see a man with a woody and how many times do you need to use the f* word).  Given that my daughter could put a sailor to shame, I'll take her word on it.

Completely agree with you dude.......

It was awesome!

We just got back and thought that it was funnier (different type of funny) than Wedding Crashers.

Go figure, it was also a kinda "feel good" flick.

We saw it last Friday night.  It was hilarious although I've never heard the F-bomb dropped quite so frequently in a 2 hour period... not even while at an O.U.C.H. convention!   ;;D
