Title: Laptop question
Post by JDH on Aug 19th, 2005, 1:10pm
Recently got our first laptop and I was screwing around in the Control Panel and for whatever reason I disabled the touch pad...I know, I know, duh me.
So can anyone tell me how to enable it w/out having access to the pointer? I can't even log on without it.  [smiley=huh.gif]

Yeah, on your keyboard you should have a WINDOWS icon on the bottom left. If you click on it, you can reopen the control panel. Using the arrow keys, you  should be able to navigate and reactivate the mouse pad.

Solution#2: Plug in a mouse and fix the problem.

Did that help?

Thanks Rex I'll that try when I get home tonight.
Yeah plugging in a mouse is my next move...not real big on that touch pad to begin with.
