Title: newbie trip report Post by daniel_tn on Aug 16th, 2005, 9:41pm :D hi all, just got back from boston. it was 92 when i arrived and dropped to 64 in 24 hours, then rained like a mofo and flooded my folks house! then my dad had a gall bladder infection and had to go to the ER! now he's in hospital after having the stupid thing removed. so far, he's doing alright, as they caught the thing just in time. i'm back in nashville, and just getting the signals that i'm about to get slammed again. had attacks twice a day in boston, one in the mid-afternoon, the other around 10.30, very different than my "normal" schedule, whatever the hell that is. my folks and family were horrifed to see me standing at the counter with tears running down my face from the pain, 'cause i never showed pain before. but this s**t is just too much, and i just can't stop the tears from running sometimes (i.e., most of the time). imitrex seems to knock the 9s and 10s down to 6s and 7s (which i can handle better) in about 1/2 an hour. continuing with kudzo, etc. continuing with life, through the tears. you folks are in my prayers now always. best,. daniel |

Title: Re: newbie trip report Post by ClusterChuck on Aug 16th, 2005, 11:07pm Glad you were able to make the trip. Sorry you had to get nailed while away, though. Especially in front of your family. I HATE that! I am leaving (the Warden from Hell, and I) to go to New England on Thursday. Going to central Massachusetts and then up to New Hampshire to spend a long week end with family, at my Father's summer place on the lake. Well, good luck in getting the beast under control, keep fighting. It is a hard row to hoe, but we are strong, and we can do it! Chuck |
