Title: Don't you hate....
Post by Jasmyn on Aug 15th, 2005, 12:52pm
a day like this.

When time has just gone and you don't know where.

When you took too much meds and your brain is befuddled (not that mine is not most of the time).

When you didn't get enough sleep because sleep is not a word in your dictionary and not associated with your bed.

When your words are slurred but you had no drink.

When you can't remember if you have Parkinson's or CH.

When you've been to hell and back but you're not sure where you are now.

When you remember smells and sounds but not people's names.

When you know you have a sense of humour but you forgot where you packed it.

When you feel hungry but you don't remember if you ate.

When you rattle on and on and on but you don't know when to stop.

I hate these days... or do I? [smiley=huh.gif]

Hang in there, Lumpy. Most often, breast lumps are not malignant. They can be caused by caffeine, stress, or else they mysteriously come and go on their own. God bless your boobies.  ;)

Stay strong, Jas.  Yeah, I hate it too.  Getting old sucks, and with Ch, getting old sucks worser (yeah, I know, that's not really a word, but it fits)

Hang in there, we love ya!

Sandy

Agree with Jolene about getting the boobies mashed, but the most hurtful part was the looks I got from all the ladies in the waiting room.

Had I taken a woman with me, any woman, I'm sure they'd have looked on me as a wonderful and caring person supporting another during a time of great stress and anxiety.  But no, I went alone and was scorned as some sort of prevert.

That hurt far more than the procedure, I can promise you.

So that breast-enhancement cream worked out pretty well for you, eh Brian? But yeah... Having your own set of breasts to play with, comes at an unforeseen and rather painful cost...

My very best to you, my big-breasted brother. (Adds new meaning to "hang in there." Hangin' there?) LMMFAO

Well the ladies tell me that the more 'endowed' they are, the less uncomfortable the test is.

I can promise you that well-endowed I ain't, and even less-endowed since. Wouldn't be a woman for quids mate.

Having my usual CH attacks today PLUS just returned from Oral Surgery at the hospital where I  had 6 teeth removed; I can handle the CH pain (kip 8-10) but am dreading when the anesthetic for my mouth wears off (not to mention blood seeping out from the empty sockets even though they were stiched).  I think that I will take a sleeping pill and a few Dilaudid and go off into Never Never Land (no, not Mike Jackson's house).  Tomorrow should be fun-my boss expects me to come to work; actually, he expected me to come to work after the surgery-am I having a nightmare?

ouch, why'd they pull the teeth?

Grinding at night due to CH pain gradually broke them until just stumps were left-still have enough good ones so that I can get bridges made and will get an implant or two.  Thank the tooth fairy that my front teeth are OK.  OUCH is right-the anesthetic is wearing off, but the other stuff is kicking in-feeling kind of good, headwise.
