To late actually have a range built and her and kids all shoot ... We shoot from 20 through 70 meters Not enough room for 90 meter range but trying to talk neighbor into using some of her land.

Actually my 10 year old does pretty good at 20 and 30 meters ... and wife does good at same, 15 year old keeps tight pattern at 30 meters and im just starting to move from 50 to 70 meters .. had to move the weight up to maintain accuracy pretty fun altogether. arm gets a little stiff when shooting to much but am getting used to it ... I would reccomend that for people wanting to work upper body and arms .

Need to drag my bow out and get practicing again! There's nothing like sitting on your deer stand on a cark january morning waiting for the sun to rise  ;;D.

Coldest morning I ever spent!

Archery, Archery, Archery!

Even with the dramatic improvements in technology its a thinking sport.  On the range archers have to think all 60 arrows into the bullseye. (concentration lapses due to scantily clad women do not help).

In the field archers must understand the animals they  hunt and outsmart them in their own world.  There are no easy archery hunts.

Everything is up-close and personal, one mistake, shift in wind or unnoticed thin grey branch can result in failure.  Hunting at its best.

Absoltuely.  And part of it is the *commune* with nature when all you can think about is "my ass is freezing to the seat on this deerstand.  Have I been here long enough?  " [smiley=laugh.gif].
