Title: cycle end
Post by badash on Aug 10th, 2005, 1:29pm
I was wondering how any of you know when your cycle is ending. What signs do you notice?

Mine don't offer me any clear signs, just little clues. Each inviting me to "test" whether it is truly gone yet. i'll give it a go though:

1.) I stop getting hits
2.) When out in the heat, or exercising moderately I don't begin to feel a "behind the eye" kind of strain-thing that can precede a hit
3.) Oppressive "feeling" begins to lift. Sky a little bluer, air a little fresher, conversation a little easier to engage in, things a little more interesting than they are when under the cloud.

This cycle gave me a few false clues, resulting in a couple of stray hits, many days after all other hits were gone. I tend to push the clues hard though, so my impatience is sometimes rewarded as could be expected. I try not to get too disappointed though.

I wish there was something like a "test strip" that could tell you for sure.

That one sounds nice to think about. :)
It made me smile.  Thanks

IHS says 30 consecutive PF days/nights.

Live the best you can regardless!!!!!!!

Sometimes when the pain switches to the other side of my head, I know I'm nearing the end of this particular patch.

But like Eric says, don't think too much and live the best you can.

Ch is not an exact sience and for everyone at various times it is different.

PFDAN's to you!

I'm  in debate with myself right now about this cycle.  My hit's deminished from kip 10's 2-3 times a day, to kip 5-8's (those are hard to figure out on that scale just how bad they hurt) to once a day (upon wakening,  those suck).
I didn't have one this morning at all.  It's the first PF day since 7/16.  I'm keeping my fingers crossed and I'll l try not to be disappointed if I get another visit.  :-/

When I had mine, they started going from about 5 a day to 4, 3, etc. It took a day until I realized that it was over. Thems was the daze.

Good luck. You too will get a break.

Charlie
