I got this spam crap email today.......no way can a person loose that many inches in an hour......sales pitches are gettin so rediculous ya'd have to be brain dead to fall for it. Ya'd not even loose that many inces if ran over by a truck.....twice. And if ya did sweat off a few inches with this mummy wrap ya'd blow back up in anuther hour and then some when ya took it off......be funny to watch someone with form fittin clothes on thinkin they looked sexy SPLIT. I got an email from a law firm in London. A relative in Scotland ledt me 9 mil.

I asked them to send me a check. Nope cant do that.

Either go to Amsterdam and pick up the loot or give them my bank info for a money transfer.

Ok then.

How about PayPal? No response.

Yeah I get them too and now am getting alot of adds to buy viagra and sex remedys......it's all gettin thru my spam filters.......I have been known to frequent pet sites Pam

I got a weird email from an email address that is exactly my email address, but a different @host.

So, my email is caseybarton [@] gmail [dot] com. I got an email from caseybarton@cox.net. The text said - "1" That's it. And there was a .txt file labeled "1"

I didn't think much of it. But then I got an email that said something I sent was undeliverable, but it was something that I had never sent. The message text said it was from my email address. Curiouser and curiouser. It was sent to "berry"

Then, I just got another email from caseybarry@wf.net, with the same "1" crap as the first one.

Is someone stealing my identity?

I get those too casey.....but it is my addy only a few letters changed......I get spam mail to everything close to my email addy......must go thru the alphabet of email addresses. I heard worms and trogens do that but if I don't have those email addy's in my address book that don't make sense or ever sent them mail or mass forward stuff. What is up with the emails that make no sense........I get several of them. All it will say is.......the camel was illigitamate and the sun was brown ???? Say what ??????? Some sort of CODE ??? Is it going out to EVERYONE they can find useing email to give someone a CODE to blow up sumthing or do something and reaching them THAT way at random so no one can be linked to the direct message ? Oh no.....messages from Bin Ladin ? Bin Ladin is not here Pam

I'm lucky, my provider adds a line to the header of each mail received, like
X-Spam-Level: ******
(with 0 to 7 *s)
I've set MailWasher to automatically bounce and delete mails with 4 or more asterisks, so I don't see any spam mail, although they come at a rate of 40 to 70 per day.

Funny, but the most spam emails I get come to my uni address. It's a true problem, but the uni's computer tec guys haven't yet figured out how to solve it... ::)
