Getting ready to enter a state photography competition on "Louisiana, a Great Place To Live, Work and Play". Need opinions on which pic to submit. Here are the ones to choose from (all are shot on the Ouachita river).

The second one gets my vote. The light shining over the river is perfect. The first and last look too dark and wouldn't attract me as a visitor. The second one would, though.

My vote is number 1 because of the contrast between the sky, the river, and the green grass foreground. But, I'm not an art expert. You need to talk to my hubby, Tarey.

I like #3, only because of the rippled water due to the boat going by and the contrast.

They are of course all beautiful!

I love them all and it was a close thing for me between 2 and 1 but 1 won..( I know that sounds terrible!)
because it has more land than sky, roughly 2/3'rds so seems moe balanced.
I do love them both though and I'm wishing you the best of luck Carolyn!

Wouldn't go for #1 although very pretty the light that is shining on the ground is out of place. Looks the headlight beam or a really bright flash on the ground.

#2 has just the right amt. of light for the time of day and it doesn't mask the veiw.
This is my vote. ;;D

Others a little dark but still gorgous. [smiley=twocents.gif] Good luck
