Got called to the corporate office this morning.

Enter the room to face my director, the regional manager, and the corporate VP.

1. Light restricted duty for 30 days.

2. Must not exceed 8 hours per day.

3. No on call.

4. Must take 1 hour lunch break.

5. Start utilizing personal time.

No discussion.

Christ. Passive/Aggresive at its finest! LMAO!

I've heard nothing but good things about it, scuba diving aside. But the diving is supposed to be fantastic, and we're thinking about hopping over to Belize for a couple of days, too. :)

There is a reef off the Western shore that Jacques Cousteau used to dive on and film all the time. Supposed to be like the 3rd largest system in the world.

Visit the Eastern side of the island for relaxation. Almost completely undeveloped except for the obligatory beach bars.

Also the light House and alligator sanctuary on the South East corner is worth a trip.

Been there - it's absolutely glorious! We stayed in Cancun for a week and took an excursion out to the reef by individual little power boats (2 people per boat) through the mangrove swamps and out to the reef. Snorkled (I don't dive), and saw amazing fish and coral. Breathtaking colors. I would imagine that if you dove on the reef it would be even better. Definitely do it! You won't regret it!

Yes you will love it, we had a blast there, just if you buy anything, talk them down, & if they don't come down, walk away, cause they will come down, would beleive all the stuff we got over there for nothing really !!
Can't wait to go back, was a wonderful time!! enjoy your self.. ;;D ;;D

There was one vendor selling table clths for $45.oo.

Got it for $ 5.oo. Have fun with it.

My wife was shy at first. By the end of our stay she had the vendors running for cover. LMAO.

Thats how Sassy_Lady (Jolene) was.. :) She had them running to her and running away from her... it was so funny... She got everything for her price....

Do not take their first price, you would not believe how low they will go on prices... :)

I'm going to keep a grand total of $5 in my wallet, no credit cards, and keep the rest of my money in my pocket. That way, when I tell them I'll give them $5 for something, they'll believe that $5 is all I've got. LOL

I've spent time in places where bartering and haggling are the name of the game. ;)

Oooohhh! Another though! If you have to get more cash to buy something in town, they will escort you to the ATM machine. Just be careful and remember your exchange rate. We went to ATM in Cancun, wanted to get 50.00 pesos. Punched in 50.00, and got 5.00 pesos. Went back through again and had to punch in 500.00 to get 50.00 pesos. When we got home and got our bank statement, there were two withdrawals, one for 4.50, and another for 45.00 - dollars.

It was educational, to say the least. But the guy selling the T-shirt laughed his head off at me!
