Title: Jonny may be cooking, OUCH is racing.UPDATED Post by Racer1_NC on Aug 6th, 2005, 11:47am For those of you that follow the OUCH car.... http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b206/Racer1_NC/DSC00400.jpg The team will be in action tonight in Winston-Salem, NC at Bowman Gray Stadium for the Advance Auto Parts 199. In practice and qualifying held yesterday in the hot NC sun, luck was on our side. The team set second fastest time. In our series, the top 6 draw for starting positions.....we drew the pole. Not bad for not having raced at this track for 15 years. For those in the area, racing will start at 8p tonight. Track website...http://www.bowmangrayracing.com/ Photos from Friday. We lead the first 72 laps before a car spun to the infield and sprayed dirt on the track causing us to lose traction and drop back to 6th. Ended up fighting back to finish 4th. The way the year has gone, we were all smiles with 4th. Pretty sickening after leading so long though. The other guy just got lucky.. ;;D There's always next time. You just have to keep plodding on. Luck never lasts be it good or bad and I reckon OUCH car is due for a change Beeyull! Right.. now its tomorrow. Where's me uvver pics wut you promised?!! |

We love to go to the local track, hope to get back soon. Just spending to much on meds right now, and the sounds are a little rough on the head.... My friend is building a new Pure Stock for the next season here at our local track... he is a rookie, but he likes it alot... Post more often when you are racing please !!! Great Job Again...
