Well good news my hubby got a job. N0ot as much as he is used to making but it is min 40 hours a week and starts Monday.

Bad news is about 2 weeks ago he woke up with a panic attack. took him to urgent care and they put him on some sort of anxiety meds and doc ran a full blood panel. he went back today for his followup and he is diabetic. So now I have to figure out how to cook for a diabetic and get the whole family used to a new way of eating and living and such.

I go to the doc today for my physical and such so hopefully other then CH there is nothing new that pops up for me.

At least he is covered under my insurance and it covered everything. The meds the machine and the tests strips and all.

Have to be a little bit stronger. I can do it. Who stole my gold bra, I cant change into Wonder woman without it? :-/

Try to look on the, um, bright side T. At least you caught it early and all of you will feel better and benefit from a healthier diet. It really isn't hard to do, check online for recipes. Good luck sweetie! [smiley=hug.gif]

Sorry to hear the news about the Hubby... Glad he got a new job, hope all works out for him in it.

I think if you can manage these CH's & all the family Stuff, I think you will do fine with a new diet....

There's quite a lot to take in with a diabetic diet, its not just cutting out sugar so you've got a lot of reading to do there Tia! My niece is diabetic and I know there is a big adjustment with carbs etc too.
You'll cope, you always do. You are an incredible, strong woman and I have every faith in you.

I believe strongly that what happends to us happends for a reason. And that we're never given a burden which is stronger than we can carry. Now, here's some websites I found about diabetes & diet. Hope you'll find something which helps.

Thanks everyone. I'm a little better with it today. It just hit me like a brick wall Friday. Spent a shit load of hours no the net pulling recepes and about 2 hours at the grocery store Saturday looking at labels and such. It is still a lot to learn and take in, but I feel like I can handle it better.

Hang Tough Tiannia...

I know its alot to take in, but I am sure you can handle this. I can't say I know where you are, but I started looking at almost the same thing when my BEAST came back this last time, cause I was PF for 3yrs. That was my first thought, before I came here, that it was something in my diet, but I learned better.

Just remember that Knowledge is the BEST weapon for alot of things in life... well ok.. pretty much eveything...

Keep your head up high, and try to support your husband. I know that matters alot, it makes me feel alot better when my wife is there when I'm having my CH, even though she can not do anything to make them go away, it nice to have someone there once the BEAST falls asleep.. Its just nice...

Sorry I am rambling on.... Just Hang Tough .... come here and vent when you need to..

What I've read of you lady is that you don't need no gold bra! You are already stronger than you know, so hang loose!
