Title: Prayers needed for one of our troops Post by Lizzie2 on Aug 4th, 2005, 9:55pm Hi gang, My mom just told me this story when she got home from work tonight, and I definitely think her friend and friend's son could use some MEGA prayers/vibes/etc right now... My mom is secretary for one of our local elementary schools - she's worked there for the better part of 13 years now, I suppose. The one janitor, Harry, has also worked there forever and is a good friend. Harry's son has been in Iraq for some time now. Today, Harry got an email from his son. His son said that he currently can't feel his legs from his feet up to his lower back. He asked his dad to pray for him. He said he was in a medical facility. He did not say what happened, where he was, or anything else other than the paragraph I just wrote above.... :'( Harry was teary-eyed all day today, my mom said. He has no way of contacting his son, and so he just has to wait for further word. My mom was pretty upset, too, because Harry is a good friend. We can't even imagine what he must be going through.... If you guys could please give up some Clusterville prayers and vibes for Harry and his son...and for ALL of our troops overseas....I'm sure it will do some good. We all know the power of how well our prayers/vibes from here work for people! Will give you an update when I know more, but honestly....I may not find out anything for awhile given the circumstances. Harry - all of the prayers in the world going up for you and your son. Thanks guys, Carrie |
