Well, Hubby does nothave a job yet, but I was able to give us a little breathing room until he does.

Construction is slowing down a little here in Vegas, so he is looking to go back into Medical (he did that in the Army and up until about 5 years ago).

but when we refinanced our house, we paid off my car. I was able to take a loan out on the car at 9% and now I dont have to freak about bills and house payment until he gets paychecks coming in. There is no early payoff penalty so once he does get regular checks coming in we can take the money and put it all back on the car and apy it off quicker.

Thank you all for the hugs and support. It really helped to come here and feel that people believed that we could get through this. [smiley=hug.gif]

I'll keep you all posted. Please keep us in your thoughts still. Need to get him working.

Good for you, Tia - you're a smart girl! I knew you'd figure a way through this.

I gotta agree with Jonny though - 9% IS high these days. Are you in a position to bargain with them to get that interest rate a bit lower?

Glad to hear you found away around your problems Tia. I agree with Margi and Jonny - 9% does seem high, but sometimes ya just have to go with what you can find.

It is cheaper then what we got for our other car earlier this year. And without having the second income it was the best that I could do. I would love to have it cheaper but will have to give it a little time then we can go back and talk to them again.
