I keep seeing this as a descriptor of the "typical" clusterhead appearance. What the hell are they talking about?

I threw the newsletter out...but was that one mentioned on that newsletter from Jefferson about CH a few months back?

I remember asking Dr. Young about that whole 'description' and he told me the only one that could not hold up in court was the hazel eyes.  I said...WHAT???  I don't have a leonine face!  He laughed and told me I always have to be the exception...

I'd think orange peel skin is what Bill said...kinda rough and bumpy-ish?  Not sure that fits any clusterheads I know, though!!

I would show you a picture of the "orange peel" skin on my ass, but I like y'all too much.  ;)  Cellulite is described as "orange peel" skin. Kind of mottled.

All I can say is that I do have hazel eyes, bloodshot, but still hazel.

I aways assumed it was an irregular appearance
i.e., not the smoothe silky skin types.  I guess we're    just a bunch of raggid looking souls with a bad headache that refuses to go away and bad skin.

Could be, Rex. Men tend to have thicker, rougher skin anyway... Some of the other "classic" signs supposedly, are hazel or light-colored eyes, a "leonine" appearance, or deep lines on either side of the nose.

Like horoscopes, I think this is vague enough to encompass nearly every Caucasian person in the world.  [smiley=laugh.gif]

I have hazel to green eyes.....I used to say they to changed color with my mood, but in reality it just depends on the type of light in the room.

I have hazel eyes, but they are dull.  I don't have orange peel skin, but I am definately a "whitey". ::)  I don't look like a lion, but a frog.  LOL

Just goes to show that appearances mean nothing really, when it comes to disease. :-/

My eyes are mixture of blue & grey, the only "leonine" thing can be my red (dyed) hair and my skin...well, it's pale.

Leonine hair...and that's it!

I probably could play the Cowardly Lion in the Wizard of Oz with my hair. haha

It's now well past my shoulders and very very curly!

Fun though :)  I only keep it back...no puke from the little ones in my hair, thanks! ;)

Oh..and I've blue eyes - my mom and brother have hazel...my dad and I have blue :)

I don't have orange peel skin(by the way lions don't have that type of skin) but what I do have is a bush of auburn hair, hazel to green eyes, freckles(but then I've been in the African sun most of my life) and very long strong nails(thats due to working with a lot of manure, I'm sure).

Well, just maybe, because of our leonine appearance (remember lions comes in diffirent shades - from a creamy sandy colour to a dark brown nearly black - some actually have black manes) we have CH because we are still evolving into the species homosapiens.

That would account for some of our personality traits which include pride, temper(we can't blame it all on meds so it makes me feel better to compare myself with a lion), loners but work well in a certain group(like this one), intelligent with fine tuned reflexes and a six sense (if we were not half the time on drugs, luckily we all have a sense of humour), fiercely competitive, nocturnal, good hunters and that bloody oversized part of our brains (which by accident houses our primitive instincts) that causes us many a time to roar like lions!

That is my reasoning to this delicate situation we find ourselves in. ::)

Very well said. I've often thought that Clusterheads as a group were more alike than we care to admit.

I don't think I have orange peel skin.  I'll ask my hubby to look.  I'm tiny, have no mane of hair - what I do have is very short and blond from the sun.  I only weigh 105 pounds soaking wet, but I am very tan from working in the garden, so I'll probably have orange peeling skin pretty soon, I guess.  But, I can assure you, I look much more like an elf than a lion on any given day!

Frank - are you sure there wasn't an elf description in that cluster profile?

Blue eyes here. That's interesting I didn't know that light eyes were a possible trait.

I'm a sicko, I saw Matt;s pic above and instantly thought nipple....you should see how I do on a Rorschach test!

Is the orange peel skin referring to the pores rather than the color? I better go look in the mirror but I don't think I have that.

Yeah, I have real light eyes, too. Gray, green, or pale blue, depending on the lighting in the room. Actually, my skin on either side of my nose, beneath my eyes, looks a little like the photo that MaffuMatt posted.
