I live in the lower red loop in Madison. I hope Thomas and Gena's wedding was a planned inside one. When my neapheu got married a couple of years ago. They had a outside wedding planned and there were tornadoes bouncing around. We had to cram lots of people into the building. However it all worked out in the end. :) |

There are trees down all over the place. BIG trees! I took a drive just a bit ago to see how far the power outage went, incase we needed to go out to dinner...by the time I got back home power was back on. All of us are safe. Nature's fury has passed. Right across from the Holiday Inn back parking lot? It was cut off about a foot above the ground and smashed that 5 foot chain link fence like it was made of toothpicks. |

Just silent lightning flashing all around, without any pause between flashes. The "light show" went on for at least a couple of hours. I sat on the front porch and watched it until I was too tired to keep my eyes open.... |

That's the first time in 40 years I remember a hurricane coming over here. The lighning and thunder was going off, I thought at first it was my neighbors making a bunch of noise at 2AM. :) It's very unique to have any storms here in the summer. |
