I am in San Antonio for a quick overnight trip (at the request and full expense of a client. I am inspecting his office for H.I.P.A.A. compliance, etc.) I would love to hear from any Alamo City clusterheads tonight.

I am stopping in Round Rock tomorrow evening and going to have dinner with the ever wonderful Not4hire and his lovely bride Martha. He may even talk me into staying the night....he's got porch, you know :)

If there is anyone nearby...PM me. I will check messages in about an hour from now.

While it is still daylight I am going to wander down to the Riverwalk which is about a block away and find some good Mexican food. Solitude CAN be a good thing sometimes ;).

Hope everyone is muddling through the post convention blues. Best way I know how is pick up the phone and call a clusterbuddy.

I'm off to spend the good doctors money now.

DD...IslandSonja and katrollins are both in San Antonio. They are just delightful and I know you probably didn't have much time to spend with them...

Quick trip to my favorite restaurant..La Margaritas in Market Square. Beef Fajitas, Hand Made Tortillas, Sauteed Onions, Guacamole, Rice and Beans (that is where the solitude comes in handy ;).) and Sopapillas with honey for dessert. YUM!

I have leftovers.

I will try to get back downstairs to check messages in a bit. Sorry there wasn't more notice to this trip. Would have loved to visit with more clusterheads.

Chuck, S.A. is my old stompin' grounds...I lived here for 9 years...about 10 years ago...boy have things changed!
So no warning needed...LOL...I broke this town in a looooong time ago!!!

Dang. Wish I had seen this when you posted it. I would have told you to go to Dirty Dick's place on the River Walk. Great food and fun people.
If you do eat there, wash your hands before you leave. They don't want you carrying any germs out to the street.

Dirty Dick's Last Resort... I drank more beer in that place than any human being should ever consume.... LOL
