.... didn't think you'd noticed Eric  ;)
I'm so glad to have met you too, you have such a fantastic sense of humour and you had me in stitches. I'm missing you something rotten... when did you say you were coming to visit?!

Bill.. what can I say?! You have the sexiest voice on planet Earth.. a real knee trembler. I'm gutted that I missed saying goodbye to you.. I'll just have to come back next year won't I?!

Ghostie meeting you was definitely one of my highlights. I'm so glad you were able to take a long lunch and come and say hello. I'm posting that pic of us later so be warned!

Frank meeting you was great. Hitting you was even better! [smiley=laugh.gif] Seriously! David wants to know how soon you can come to England.. he was muttering something about while I'm picking on you I'm leaving him alone??? ::)

Nani, the only reason I was able to let you go and not hang on to your ankles to stop you leaving was knowing I'll be seeing you again in February and even that is far to long to wait. :'( (Pssst.. maybe we better NOT warn Hirv huh?!)

Nots I really hope your trip in September comes off! We will definitely meet up whether it's here or Hamster Jam!

Sanna the flight was 10 hours direct. I am SOO glad we didn't get a connecting one!!

Well. just got home from the convention and I have to say what a weird bunch of loud mouthed, heavy smoking, long haired, beer swilling, crazy, rude, foul mouthed, head banging nutters you all are.

Can't wait til the next one!!

You guys are great and I am soooooo glad that Helen took me along!

Seeing people other than Helen getting hit just reinforces the image of horror of the pain you guys suffer. In a strange way, we should be thankful for CH because without it, non of you would have met and formed such a fantastic group of deeply caring and supportive friends.

I look forward to the next convention or gathering with the deepest hope that it will be a meeting of EX-CH sufferers.

Missing you guys already
David

Dangit, at least send me some crumpets...!

Helen, you are a wonderful woman and an awesome friend.  It was great meeting you finally...You and David make such a great couple too...By the way David, so many times I saw you running another oxygen tank to someone getting hit...your dedication and compassion was awesome to see...

Love you guys.

I started reading this post and thought, "who in the heck is iceman that was at convention, then read down and realized it was you. I am glad that you got to come as well. It was great meeting you and sharing an awesome steak together. But really glad to hear that you guys will be crossing the pond again next year. Post when you can. You have an awesome wife, kinda short, but hey, what you gonna do. ;;D
Later Bro.

Hate to hijack the thread but have to ask a question of the Iceman...........
That picture below your name..........is that boat supossed to stand on it's tail like that or are you just seconds from a crash?
:o

Ok, back to being home.

Hi BobG,

http://i10.photobucket.com/albums/a139/lelimey/Wheely.jpg

the hovercraft in the pic did come down the right way as happens 99.9% of the time!

In this particular instance it was not a deliberate 'wheelie' but I can pull them and hold the hovercraft at that attitude but it loses speed so I don't do it during a race only when playing!

Its a cool way to wash the rudder!

Helen and David, it was so incredible meeting the two of you.  I am sitting here reading your posts and hearing your voices as I read.  Jane and I are soooo looking forward to February.  I'm already mulling the menu for a huge Cajun feast over in my mind.

It was my pleasure to meet both of you.

Damn, all the way from Nottingham!     Now that's just plain "kewl".

Glad you made it home safe......

David, very neat pic of that hovercraft.    Wonder if a bass boat can do that    [smiley=huh.gif]    LMAO.

Much love to you both, and look forward to seeing you again.

Very glad you made it all right. I had a great time yakking with and at you both. I've been wanting to for a long time. Helen, you're hilarious! http://www.netsync.net/users/charlies/gifs/wild girl.gif

On another note, as I wrote someone else, I'm sorry if I had a hard time keeping track of all you newcomers. I haven't wanted to admit it but my doctor is right. I do have trouble hearing in crowds. I either leaned in on your or pretended I knew whom I was meeting. http://www.netsync.net/users/charlies/gifs/sigh.gif

What a putz I can be. http://www.netsync.net/users/charlies/gifs/old smiley.gif

I sorted most of it out but with that and my being so self-centered, I miss out on stuff. It takes me at least two conventions to get it right. Anyway, I had a good time, even if I yakked my head off and didn't know enough to rest. I always revert back to my stammering when tired. Pretty hard to hold up my end of all those political arguments that way.....

I had great fun with you all and plan to be at the next one. http://www.netsync.net/users/charlies/gifs/goodjob.gif

Helen and David -

God what do I say?!

Helen - I will never eat another Oreo (or barbeque) for the rest of my life - my thighs thank you!  :)  It was quite a moment for me to finally meet you in person!  I love you so much!  You are one of the most fabulous individuals I have ever had the pleasure to meet and be proud to call "friend".  I am humbled - Thank you.

David - You are an amazing person.  Helen and Jasper are so incredibly lucky to have you as their own personal supporter.  Wow.  Now on a more serious note, if you ever get tired of all that "abuse" come on across the pond and I'll kick my boy to the curb and you can move right on in!   [smiley=laugh.gif]  I'd love to say I have a "Friend" living in my house!   ;;D

You are both wonderful wonderful wonderful!!!!  I will miss you terribly and like Lizzie I promise to give at least an hour notice before descending on your doorstep!   ;)

Love and hugs and kisses and all that good crap!
Karen

I'm sure that can be organised Frank, sounds like it could be very interesting, especially the bit where I drive the hovercraft onto land............
