Title: Re: picture of peace Post by clarence on Jul 18th, 2005, 11:52am North Conway - I think I've been there. But I haven't seen Dianna's Bath. I think I went there to see all the leaves in the Fall. Also, isn't a place called "The Gorge" near there where there is a big gorge that you wal through and there is a boulder suspended between the walls? Man I miss New England. Hawaii aside, I haven't found anywhere else I would rather live. Casey |

Title: Re: picture of peace Post by BMoneeTheMoneeMan on Jul 19th, 2005, 6:59pm I grew up in New England, and it is extremely beautiful. I used to think Vermont was the most beautiful state. Then i moved to Oregon. Now, Oregon is the most beautiful state if you like nature and waterfalls and stuff. I have done lots of hiking up in the Columbia Gorge, and that is soooooo beautiful. Lots of the scenery is the same as new england, but on the west coast, the terrain is much more dramatic. No 'rolling' hills here, all jagged cliffs and lush rain forests. Very beautiful, I'd reccommend visiting oregon during the summer to anyone. PF wishes BMonee PS, the Oregon coast is freaking beautiful too. Absolutely amazing, in fact, Lewis or Clark said while at Tillamook Head point in Northern Oregon "this is the most beautiful view in all my travels"...........that was after walking across the whole country and through the rocky mountains!!! |
