Brad mentiond at dinner tonight that he was thinkin we were headin to Nashville this time of year last year......I told him YUP the convention is 'this' weekend. He sorta looked down a second and said he really hated to miss it this year but we jus can't shake loose this time. And he said the LOVE and WARMTH you all gave him was precious......he came in as a perfect stranger and doesn't get on the MB and only knew what I told him bout ya'll. He said what "you all gave him" with support and understanding and instant friendship is sumthing he will NEVER forget. We made alot of freinds......and I try to hang on here as a supporter but not bein 'one of you' and I thank you for letting me stay. Have a great time guys......anyone new going.....don't be nervous......you'll get a warm feeling the minute you walk in the doorway and it won't be pee running down your legs. Love to you all....have a safe trip and a wonderful time. Will miss the special freinds we made and new ones we would of liked to of seen. An army of ONE ON ONE Pam

Brad made special mention of jonny and BillyJ......not to leave out Ree and Dave and Bill, Peppy 'n Suzie, Happy, Joe and some others he got to talk to alot at both conventions. DJ was a clone of Brad or vice versa.....cracked me up.....he's a hell of a nice guy.

Im sad too that I cant make it this year but my roomie (PeP) is there now. Give Brad a big hug for me and maybe next year we'll get to see each other again. ;)

Yeah, it sucks missing out. Next time we'll have a reunion of 'The Porch Band' featuring Brad on harps, Randy as the voice, and me on guitar. What a blast we had in NY. Tell Brad I said 'Hi'.

Yall are the best. Yea we need another "NashCon" but with a MUCH "nicer" porch this time!! I miss Brad's BIG "cat that ate the canary grin." The beer tab for a wedding ring was too damn funny. [smiley=crackup.gif] LMMFAO Got the video and watchin that kills me everytime. And Mz Pam with that flowing blonde mane!! You remind me of a baribe doll only short like me! ;;D LOL I really miss yall more then you know. Give Brad BIG TN size hugs from me and made damn sure that you get one from him and rem. that one is from me!!

Yup.....I think NY will be hard to beat.....the setting was perfect in a resort, more laid back and no one gave us shit. I think eyes started the clusterheads music porch craze.......way too cool. NY was our first.......it WAS the best !!!!! May the porch be with you Pam

Cootie and Brad,
I'm not going this year either :'( but am trying to think ahead to next year.New York still has the porch if we get something together I'll be there come hell or high water...or big mosqitoes ::).
Hugs to you both getting to meet you guys in Nashville was one of the best parts of the trip.everyones right Brad has the cutest smile,prettiest eyes and most beautiful ,sweetest wife.

MR are you the one that got hit durein the golf game.....he told me all about sumone gettin hit bad and he kept tryin to JOKE with them and get there mind off it.....oh duh.....if I'd of tried that he'd of thrown a 4 iron at me !! Would like to get to anouther convention or 'meet 'n greet' maybe not as far so we can go for a few days and a nite. About as long as I can go rite now with this kennel and pets inside and no more house/kennel sitter. Got one exotic siamese that doesn't seem to eat now when I am gone and looks very withdrawn when I get home after a one nighter camping. He's my buddy......and more important to me then 'leaveing' a long time at this moment with how he is reacting....he's 10 now and was very ill when I first got him (he did good with the sitter friend tho that he liked and knew) So maybe a few closer ones we'll try and get to........cuz I sure am SAD to of missed this one !!! I envy all that got to go ! Vacation boundless Pam

Minni you remind me SO MUCH of one of my best friends here that it freaked me out....funny how people that look alike "ARE" !!! That was cool cuz it was as if I was talking with HER.........you were ALL cool in my book ! Brad is always tellin friends how close he felt so QUICK with all those strangers.

Missin you guys too Cootie... and those at the convention new and old... There are so many people I want to meet and so many people I want to rehug...!

I loved that porch and the simplicity that it brought to a bunch of people with a common cause... that we could all get together from different walks of life and make one another feel as one... not alone as years prior... I know Dave and I have missed a few conventions... Under recent circumstances our wallet has deflated... (I cut my work in half caring for my dad and would do it again in a heart beat to have him back.) Hopefully I will embark on a new career this year. I am looking forward to coming to another convention someday and meeting those of you that have never seen a "Ree" before.

Tell Brad I love and miss him, we treasure the knife that he made for us that we won at the convention in NY 2003... and to you my beautiful lady... ((((((Cootie)))))) a friend I will never forget... love ree
