At least I hope I did, its been 10 weeks and im chronic.(Used to be)

I half dosed my preventive meds for 5 weeks and now im off them for 5 weeks......not a fuckin twinge to date.

Somebody please tell me that im home free, I know its wishful thinking but 30 years is enough for me.

Even if this PF last you folks know that I will always be here for you......Always!

Christ......I have to drive with DD soon....Pray for me on that one ;;D

Do you think the PF time is a direct result of the reduction of meds? And what prompted the reduction?

What prompted it was not being able to see the Neuro quick enough to get my scripts filled....so i started half doseing and went from there...if half dose dont hurt what will no dose do.

Im a freak when it comes to my head...I always eat my pills cause I know it will help and always has.

So GLAD TO HEAR IT JONNY?!  For all the support and advice you offer, you deserve it after 30 years!!! Man, I feel like a wimp being "just" episodic ic for 29 years.  I guess the Lord just gives you what you can handle.

 You must be one strong man to hack the beast for THAT long, and then wean yourself off the meds...amazing  It really almost killed me last Saturday when I stopped taking freaking excedrin and advil I had been popping for 5 bloody months straight!  It was one of three times I thought of shooting myself in the head, but I knew it was just the clusters talking.  I can't imagine having to deal with it for DAILY for 30 years

Congradulations Jonny!  You deserve this and so much more pain free time.  i know when I went from chronic to eposodic and had several months pain free i would agree better than sex.  I am just so happy for you.  I will continue to pray for pain free days and nights for you for a long time to come.

The last 10 weeks must be as close to heaven on earth  as ya' can get.  Best wishes and prayers for a permanent remission Jonny.

P.S. - I survived the training of two new drivers - It's easy
1). Stock up on a whole different kind of meds.
2). Master the confused look/shoulder schrug signal to other drivers
3). Remember that there is actually hope for improvement each time you take them for a lesson

Its funny you mentioned this, yesterday I started the Verap and Lith at half dose....Im not taking any chances on the beast ruining the convention for me.

When I get home I will go back off the meds and see if I can continue my PF luck.
