Title: Already Re: Hands off my Home Gaining Strenght Post by Rock_Lobster on Jul 3rd, 2005, 8:26pm Already have it stockpiled. Thousands of rounds for each of my 3 main calibers (.308, .223, .9mm). It was moved to my new house last week in the first semi. Checked that site out nots... love it. We need to rally for these laws in each state, as the chances of getting an amendment through is this day & age is slim. |

I also found these folks through the Institute for Justice. The problem with state based laws is that just like in the medical use of marijuana raids - Federal Laws can supercede state law - states that legalized medical use of marijuana were helpless to stop federal raids. Appeals to the U.S. Supreme Court are going to override state law on property rights. Legislators in PA are already pushing for state laws to restrict eminent domain powers and I'm trying to get information on the specifics of these restrictions. This is a good delaying tactic but ultimately if it's not restricted or protected at the Federal Level - private property seizure for other private parties will be possible. It will just take little longer and probably drain the resources of private land owners tring to fight all the way through the Supreme Court. P.S. .223 reach out and touch em', .308 a little more intimate - and watch em' drop where the they stand, .9mm up close and personal, good rate of fire, makes the standing deal with the wounded. Nice range to protect against home invasion. Tom |

Title: Re: Hands off my Home Gaining Strenght Post by burnt-toast on Jul 5th, 2005, 9:09pm Here is a link to an article someone forwarded to me - It pertains to the House attempting to restrict the effect of the Supreme Court Ruling by withhoding public funds for projects that involve these private takings. Pay close attention to the link that provides a vote by vote breakdown of how my/your representatives voted. I'm sure glad the Dems. aren't in contol how did your Reps. vote? In particular I love Nancy Pelosi (minority leader D-Calif.) who wants to make sure we can use public funds to finance private takings of private property.
