Title: Why CH is good Post by AussieBrian on Jul 2nd, 2005, 10:40pm 'cos without it, I'd never have realised how good life can be without it. I'd never have known just how ignorant most doctors really are. I'd never have experienced the side-effects of some of the junk we take, and can now wax lyrical on the subject. There's something lovely I can wish onto my politician of choice, though I'm still not sure I would. When women talk about the difficulties of child-birth I can stick my nose up in the air and say, "Pshaw. Now let's talk about REAL pain!" I'd probably have frittered my money away on such wasteful things as booze, sex and actually having a life. And I'd never have met such caring, considerate and polite people like Bob and Johnny. Ah, good old CH. Wouldn't be without it. |

Title: Re: Why CH is good Post by Frank_W on Jul 2nd, 2005, 10:53pm Without CH, I'd never have learned what Australian foreplay is: "Brace yerself, Sheila!" [smiley=moonwiggle.gif] Brian, one of these days, you're going to have to come to the States, and I'll take you out for a beer. (Or five...) [smiley=me&mb.gif] [smiley=laugh.gif] |

Title: Re: Why CH is good Post by yikes-another-one on Jul 2nd, 2005, 11:01pm ;) it's true Ch is actually good for something. Now I can complain about my pain :-X when mom starts about her arthritis and hub starts about his back I can put my two cents into the conversation. funny how short the conversation is when they can't top you. ::) they kinda change the subject to more interesting things, like the weather, cartoons and "sea-life" 8) Yep, CH is a conversation saver..... :P |

Title: Re: Why CH is good Post by don on Jul 2nd, 2005, 11:20pm Would have never experianced being in my backyard in my underwear in February at 2 AM Learned how to plaster holes in the walls Learned to not drop the syringe when I'm hanging out with my blow up doll. PSSSSSSSST. Prednisone! Made great new friends at Burger King while gaining 20 lbs. in 3 days. Would have never known I could scare the crap out of a 7 foot, 300 lb state cop by simply starring at him out of my window. Frozen peas are my friends! |

Title: Re: Why CH is good Post by Linda_Howell on Jul 3rd, 2005, 1:15pm without CH I would have never known: how expertly I could handle a 3000 pd. hunk of metal and glass careening down a Los Angeles freeway at 70 mph. while banging my head into the steering wheel, and trying to see through my watering eye. Yep. I'd like to see Mario Andretti do THAT!!!!!!!!! Linda |

Simple. Sitting in the breakdown lane, Kip 9, with an injector in my arm. Statie pulls up and walks over to my window. I turn and look at him with doopy eye, snotty nose, hand on my head and the AC blowing in my face. " medical condition" is all I can manage to say. Cop, pale faced, calls an ambulance while standing 4 feet away from my car with his hand on his gun, staring at me wide eyed, and doesn't say a word. Ambulance arrives, CH already aborted, have a nice day. Educating cops! LMAO! |

Title: Re: Why CH is good Post by Frank_W on Jul 3rd, 2005, 1:40pm LMAO, Don! Jeez... No telling what the trooper thought, when he first encountered you... LOL I was staying at a hotel with my wife and daughter, who were flying to Japan early the next morning, when I got hit HARD! One of the things that helps, in the middle of an attack, is to play piano. Nothing complex, (as if that were even possible!) but I sit and play chords. It distracts me, and I don't know... Maybe the vibrations of the notes helps, somehow... In an alcove of the hotel, they had a 6' Yamaha grand piano. I sat down and very quietly, began playing some soft chords, barely audible. The night manager comes striding over and says sternly, "The piano is closed for the night!" and began closing the lid. I looked up at him with my droopy eyelid and blood-red eye, and he went pale and took a step back. I said, "Yes sir." I stood up, quietly closed the lid, and walked away. What I wanted to say was, "No.... No, it's NOT fucking closed, because I'M playing it right now, and if you don't want me to break you in half, you'd better walk your skinny little ass back to the desk and shut the fuck up!" >:( I chuckled about it later. I wonder what he thought when I first looked up. LMAO |

Title: Re: Why CH is good Post by Jonny on Jul 3rd, 2005, 2:18pm I posted this years ago......State cop pulled me over and asked to search my car, he found a box of Indo bullets in the glove box. On the script it said Incase of HA take rectally.....The dude looks at me and says "You put one of these in your ass for a HA?".....I told him that I would put a small dog up my ass if it would stop the pain.....LMAO ;;D He says, "Your all set, take off".....LOL I have a feeling that the CH.COM bumpersticker on my car had something to do with him believing me. |

Title: Re: Why CH is good Post by AussieBrian on Jul 4th, 2005, 1:29am First I've heard of the Small Dog treatmentand and surprised Prof Goadsby hasn't mentioned it. Must get in touch with him. Know all about the Cat in Graveyard at Midnight Therapy but had only reasonable success with it. Will happily pass on details to anyone interested and all donations to the Brian Benevolent Fund gleefully accepted. |
