Title: Re: Another long week end Post by TomM on Jun 30th, 2005, 12:36pm Hey Pat, have fun. Keep the tires to the earth's center of gravity, beer on ice, bug repellent handy, fire burning all night, boots dry, hole patched in tent, and sleep well under the stars. Roast some marshmallows and have a Smore in my honor! TomM |

Title: Re: Another long week end Post by giffy76 on Jun 30th, 2005, 1:30pm I have to lock the jeep in the garage. Way to much beverage consumption, if ya know what I mean. I normally take the four wheeler and that's better for toppless fun anyway. "sure, you can drive, but what will I hold on to" I think that deserves another WOOOOHOOOO!!! |

Kinda halfway in between. We have a pop up camper. It's not big enough for me to consider it an RV but my wife likes it better than the tent. I'm taking enough beer and other stuff for the entire week end so I don't have to leave the camp ground till it's time to come home. |

Title: Re: Another long week end Post by Frank_W on Jun 30th, 2005, 3:00pm There's a city boy who decides to leave the rat race behind, and heads off into the mountains to lead a life of solitude. His closest neighbor is an oldfella' who lives on the other side of the mountain. He's feeling a little lonely after several months when, by coincidence, his neighbor shows up at his fence one morning. He says, "Hey there, neighbor! I'm having a little get-together at my place on Friday night. Would you like to come over?" The city boy says yes. The oldfella' continues, "I should warn you, there's probably going to be a lot of DRINKIN'!" The city boy says that's okay with him, so the oldfella' continues, "And I should tell you that there's going to be a lot of FIGHTIN'!" The city boy tells him that it's nothing he hasn't seen before, and that he's okay with that. The oldfella' then says, "And I should tell you that there's gonna be a lot of SEX!!" The city boy says that he's not a prude, and it probably won't bother him, and then asks what he should wear to the party. The oldfella' says, "It don't make no difference. It'll just be the two of us!" |

Title: Re: Another long week end Post by cootie on Jun 30th, 2005, 3:03pm Hey giffy.....who's havein that party.......considerin we live in the same town I thought I'd ask !! Sounds similar to the one were goin to only ours is down south in New Sommerset Ohio.....the Freedom Rally !! It's a veterans candlelight vigual memorial party where they announce all the MIA/POW's in surrounding states on a big stage and everyone lights a candle in a white bag that eventually spells out POW/MIA that'd be awesome from the air to see......HUGE HUGE HUGE area to do it in. Then fireworks.....and then the bands start. Two nights of bands tho (Fri and Sat)......mens bun's contest is Friday nite and Miss Freedom Rally is Sat nite. Bike games vendors you name it. Beautiful campsite with a lake also....yeah I see alot of skinny dippers in the water and walkin around.....air dippers ?? Got a big group of friends ridein down (few are drivein bringin supplies) to meet up, camp and kick back. Happy 4th everyone.....be safe and PF. Party hardy Pam |

Title: Re: Another long week end Post by thomas on Jun 30th, 2005, 3:16pm Yep, we are supposed to be celebrating our independence from an oppressive government. And tonight here in my lovely city, at the stroke of midnight, it will be illegal to smoke a cigarette at any bar in town. Poor businessmen and women are going to die over this. |
||
Title: Re: Another long week end Post by Charlie on Jun 30th, 2005, 11:45pm You should be here in western NY Thomas. A lot of the really busy bars win suits to reinstate smoking. Most fail though. Nevertheless, it's so much easier without it. All the nurses at the hospital sit out in bus shelters in blizzards smoking. There's never any room. It's a lost cause. For all those "up or down" vote types, Smoking is way down the list. I know the frustration though and people who have never smoked have no idea. http://www.netsync.net/users/charlies/gifs/casket cig.gif Charlie, who is too cheap to smoke anyway. http://www.netsync.net/users/charlies/gifs/spray.gif |

Title: Re: Another long week end Post by cootie on Jun 30th, 2005, 11:59pm Whats this world comeing to......ya risk gettin busted goin out to relax with friends and have 'a drink' yet you can go in and drink all ya want......and now ya can't smoke. Pretty soon it will be illegal to talk out of turn in public or walk on the sidewalks after dark. The land of 'NO' Pam |

Hey Coots, scoots and boots Pam... Have a blast and a half at your Freedom Rally !! It sounds like a fantabulous biker party. Me and my gang will be at the Hollister Rally in CA. We'll toast you guys at the Freedom Rally in OH with a beer while sitting around the campfire at the campsite. When you feel that coming at the campfire at your campsite, send somethin back... K? Hollister California will host the 58th Annual Hollister bike rally that will attract over 150,000 bikers. The incident in this California town in the late 40s gave rise to the infamous movie “The Wild One”. http://www.hollisterrally.com/ Ride safe, Pam PF wishes to all during a glorious weekend. Title: Re: Another long week end Post by giffy76 on Jul 1st, 2005, 6:56am Pam, The party is at the Robinsons (Robinstock) on Lehr rd. We went on the last fireworks run last night and the total bill came $3,700.00. It should be a good show. Tom, you are correct there is no pool, just a swimmin pond. We don't like pools around here. to classy. Frank, it's easy to be like me. Drink lots of beer, throw caution to the wind, surround yourself by ugly women that like to get nekid. It's all good hillbilly fun. |

Title: Re: Another long week end Post by Frank_W on Jul 1st, 2005, 7:14am Sounds like a great party, Pam!! Enjoy the rally! :) |
