Saw a guy panhandling at an intersection on my way to work today.

He had one arm and the obligatory "I am Homeless" sign.

My first thought was:

Could be worse. He could live in a tree house!

Did you wave at him?

If he has a car, does he have a hard time negotiating Boston traffic? (Can't flip the bird without letting go of the steering wheel)

Did you offer him a hand up instead of a hand out?
