Title: Re: WTF Is Tickling Your Ears? Post by ExplodingEyeBall on Jun 17th, 2005, 9:19am I've had some neat little original melodies bouncing around in my head for the entire week now and driving me insane. I'll eventually get them turned into an actual song and try to get it recorded. |

Aww, thanks. I needed that hug. The first time I hear Three Days Grace, it was the song "I Hate Everything About You" and the voice reminded me so much of Brian Vander Ark of The Verve Pipe. Just that breathy, slight raspy voice. When the song kicked in though I knew it wasn't the Verve Pipe. as they are more alternative than heavy. If you haven't heard them, check out the album "Villians" from The Verve Pipe. Very strong songs on that disc. I love music too much. In fact, I am so addicted to it that if go for more than a day without listening to som tuneage - I begin to get very depressed. I know to many that sounds weird, but music is my comfort. It always has been. When I can rely on no one, I can rely on my music to bring me through. Peace, Carl D PS - If you can find this, DOWNLOAD IT. It is from the band LIVE and the song is called OVERCOME (WTC remix) It was done the day after 9/11 and with the news audio clips and panicked people talking....with the passion of Ed's voice and the hammering piano, my heart breaks everytime I hear it. It is on this mp3 disc I am listening to right now and it is playing so the screen is a little glazed right now. I'm not sure if it is possible to hear this version of this song and have dry eyes. "I am overcome ohhhhh yeahhh I am overcome, oh lord Holy water in my lungs I am overcome." God Bless America, Carl D |
