Not to throw cold water on a cute pic.....

They do grow older and turn into stubborn hounds with tons of personality.  Bassets have been a fixture at my house for about 15 years (2 dogs) and they are something to live with.  They can be a handful but with a little time they adjust and fit right in.  We've only had rescue Bassets so you never know what you are getting but that's OK. Lots of personality and they do like the softest cushion in the house, even if you're sittin on it.

awwwwwwww, they could have my pillow any time...sounds like my jack russels.....they are always within five feet of my ass at all times!!!  Love 'em dearly though, don't know what I'd do without 'em.... ;;D
