Title: OK Buddy is going to either kill me or ..... Post by LadyElaine on Jun 16th, 2005, 10:34am Have my ass committed ::) I been feeding a beautiful stray cat. He has a personality, and real smart. My Dog Brownie barks at him when he comes to visit. When I hear brownie barking I pull out a can of cat food and out to feed the cat. Its been going on for weeks now. From morning till sun down Brownie looks for the cat. The other day I was sitting on the porch and I saw the cat coming through the woods. Brownie was asleep upagainst the fence. I watched as the cat aproched the fence. Brownie sound asleep. The cat did everything from runing back and forth but Brownie did not wake up. The cat got tired and she took her paw and put through the fence and taped brownie on the back. Brownie was up and running and the cat headed to the shead where I feed her. That cat is so smart he has figured out that when the dog barks I bring the food out. LOL Now thats a smart cat. Anyway. He is just now getting where he will let me fpet him. He doesn't have any shelter except the woods. Brownie won't let her in our fence, so he can't sleep on the porch. So I bought her a dog house. I am going to mount it on a table by the shed for her. Take a look at this now cat house I just bought. Now the problem is telling Buddy we own a cat and I bought it a house....hmmmm maybe he won't notice. Have you named the cat, yet? She has obviously chose you as her human, but without a name, you don't quite belong to her yet. ;) |

Frank yea Brownie likes her, I figure before long they will be friends. OK come up with a name for him! |

It's yellow, and it's 2800sf.got a bay window, with a window seat........and that is where you will generally find Phantom, Buddy, Pepper and Camry.....the gang that OWNS this house. This cat is learning to love you. Since it picked YOU, well, it's now YOURS! Simple, cat law. BTW-The cat picked well, now name him..and be responsible! I'm sure you have a pet spay/neuter service nearby. Here, kitty, kitty, kitty............. |

When I get him cliped Buddy will love him to cause he will feel sorry for him . You should have seen Buddy when we had Peanut cliped. He told that dog if he knew they were going to that to him he would have stopped me LOL! Come on I need a name for the old boy! |

I think you're right - VERY smart cat to figure out how to bug Brownie in order to get food. LOL I'm getting a mental picture of poor Brownie, sleeping peacefully, then a sudden tap on her shoulder - WHAT THE?? Poor girl, must have scared the crap out of her! Yep, Einstein's no slouch. ;) The only thing he doesn't realize yet is how lucky he is to have found your family! Wait. Maybe he does...... |

Kee-Kee,Kootie (who died not long ago that was so sweet) All siamse and one exotic with bengal cat ancestry (as he gets older his spots are more prevelant and lynx lines are breaking up as more spots) .....very cool ! |

Post by LadyElaine on Jun 16th, 2005, 7:07pm Buddy just came home and he had read this thread at work. :o He said he was going to name the cat No s hit , because he has to change the cat litter and He would be the only cat we have, that doesn't use it. That makes Buddy happy ! Buddy hates changing the cat litter box ! I did tell him because of small ears in the house he would have to come up with a new name. So we are going to call him midnite! I will post a picture next time he comes visit. Should be in the morning. Little does Buddy know that when he makes friends with the other animal the cat litter box will be his too Thanks for the help! Oh Tom I am a redneck we get by with much more than fpetting ROTFLMAO |
