Someone recently asked me Why do I need to be on the boards all the time.

I will try to explain for me anyway and maybe some of you can relate. First and formost this is a place where ONYY someone (or someone who lives with someone) can understand the pain we live with in our lives. But for me its always this place where I can laugh, and cry and just makes me back away from my problems and escape. It makes me have kinda a sense of well being? I seem to need that more often lately and I am just glad I am one of the lucky ones that found this place (my place)

compassion, confession, confusion, extortion (Langa!) perversion (Frank!) laughter and tears, education, frustration and most of all love.
We all care about each other.. and know we are cared about in return. Its addictive and try as I might I can never give back what I receive. I'll keep trying though!

For me this place is a safe haven. Somewhere that I can vent, cry, laugh and not have to worry about being judged. People understqand and you dont have to say anything more the "I had a bad night." Most people dont find someplace like that. They spend their entire lives hiding behind whatever mask that is acceptable int eh company that they are in.

Im asked that all the time seeing that I have been here everyday for almost six years for hours on end...My answer is always the same...."Dont you have anything better to do then bug my ass"

Years ago I heard "Oh God, not another headache"...and not in a supporting way.

That was enough for my talking about my pain to come to a halt, my Doc is my source of meds and this family is my support.....Thats all I need!!

I can understand why any CH wants to be here. Before my partner found here for me I thought I was going to go mad. NOONE knew anything about my pain and basically made me think I was a hypochondriac. So go girl and stuff the rest of the world :D

its all good...... why do people have to bash you when you find something you like.....because they don't have what we have thats why..... family....

Most insults and insanity are created because of jealousy. When I first found this site.... I was told I dwell on Daves pain..... instead of my so called "friends" being happy that we found some company in all this.... I keep it to myself and you guys now.....but this is my place too..... love ya Candy, yer with yer family and if no one likes it tooooo bad for them..... tell em to find a support group...... hehehehehe love ree

Love, compassion and understanding. It's not just because I have clusters that I come here, it's because I have found some of the most wonderful people I have ever had the fortune to meet here. I can honestly say I would have probably taken my life last fall if it wouldn't have been for Nani sitting on the phone at 2am with me reminding me to breathe and distracting me from the knives in my kitchen. You've all honestly been life savers for me! I love you all.
