I had a Russian Blue, named Kiev (get it?). She was truly the most psychotic cat I've ever known. *Sigh* I still miss her sometimes. :-/

and you named him after a pack of buts....... I think he should be ASHTON for his color..... but actually ashes come from cigaretts so WINSTON is ok..... Im sure it will grow on me.......love ree

What a great name for a Russian Blue, Nani!

He's been very good about the litter box.

Kiki, the psychotic freakishly huge feline of doom, takes one disgusted look at Winston, hisses, and stomps off in an orange fluffy huff. Winston is sort of in quarantine at the moment, because he's getting over a bacterial eye infection.

There was a gray cat in "Pet Semetary" named "Churchill," and "Winston" is also the name of the protagonist in Orwell's, "1984," so it seemed a good name for him. A good name, but without being too pretentious. (After all, it's only a damn cat!) LMAO! [smiley=laugh.gif]

For years the cat my wife had thought it's name was "Damn Cat".

The kid's dog answers to "Turd" better than it answers to it's name. I get cussed for that one all the time. ;;D ;;D

The stable he was born in, has a horse named "Dog." (The fella who used to own the horse didn't have a trailer, so he just loaded the horse into the back of his pickup, and drove him around like a dog.) LMAO

I'm going to start calling him, "puppy." (now, if only I can teach him how to BARK!) [smiley=laugh.gif] ;;D

I had a king snake, but I sold him to a fish and reptile store, yesterday. Fish are cool... If I thought I had half a chance at keeping a salt-water aquarium from going tits-up, I'd definitely keep fish, too. Especially if I had a BIG aquarium! (Wide-screen TV for cats!) [smiley=laugh.gif]

EXCERPTS FROM A CAT'S DAILY DIARY:

Day 183 of My Captivity: My captors continue to taunt me with bizarre little dangling objects. They dine lavishly on fresh meat, while I am forced to eat dry cereal. The only thing that keeps me going is the hope of escape, and the mild satisfaction I get from flexing my claws on the occasional piece of furniture. Tomorrow I may eat another houseplant. Today my attempt to kill my captors by weaving around their feet while they were walking almost succeeded.

NOTE: must try this again at the top of the stairs. In an attempt to disgust and repluse these vile oppressors, I once again induced myself to vomit on their favorite chair, must try this on their bed. Decapitated a mouse and brought them the headless body, in an attempt to make them aware of what I am capable of, and to try to strike fear into their hearts. They only cooed and condescended about what a good little cat I was. Hmmm, not working according to plan. There was some sort of gathering of their accomplices. I was placed in solitary confinement throughout the event. However, I could hear the noise and smell the food. More importantly, I overheard that my confinement was due to my power of "allergies."

NOTE: Must learn what this is and how to use it to my advantage. I am convinced the other captives are flunkies and maybe snitches. The dog is routinely released and seems more than happy to return. He is obviously a half-wit. The bird, on the other hand, has got to be an informant, and speaks with them regularly. I am certain he reports my every move. Due to his current placement in the metal room, his safety is assured. But I can wait, it is only a matter of time... [/font][font=Verdana]

OMG is that ever cute!! Hey Frank you are not bad either ;) Clusterheads are a nice looking bunch.. Your kitty looks like my kitty. Shadow who I call Tounces is gray with a little white on her chest. She is so pretty and think she is human.
