Cogent Thoughts:

Prosecution failed
It was the prosecution's job to prove guilt. They did a lousy job. I don't know what the truth of the matter was, but in this country, the prosecution has to prove guilt and they did not. If Jackson is really such a serial pedophile then the prosecution should have been able to find someone with more credibility to use as their victim. This victim is sure to go to civil court now. That's what the family wanted all along: money. —Debbie, South Bend, Ind.

We actually agree. The prosection really dropped the ball and the more witnesses, the worse it got. Hard to say who was worse too, the witnesses or that basket case, MJ.  It's supposed to be hard to put someone away in this country. Mistakes are the price we pay.

I can't believe it but the BBC broadcast the verdict at the end of the TV broadcast that we get on PBS here. Boodly hell. http://www.netsync.net/users/charlies/gifs/willy.gif

So...it seems that locking Martha Stewart up was just for show.  Do something REALLY wrong and wind up in court as a celebrity, then you'll be okay.

Granted...I agree that the prosecution didn't cut it with this one.  The defense doesn't have to prove he's innocent...  The prosecution has to prove he's guilty....for the particular crime being discussed in that case.

Innocent until proven guilty, they say.  I'm backwards I guess, but just because he got off here, doesn't one bit make him innocent in my mind.  I think he's a really screwed up individual.  Not necessarily surprising, given his life circumstances, but ...not an excuse either...

Then again, the LAST thing I would ever do is take my child to that ranch and leave him ALONE with Jackson.  So yeah, she's about as wacko as he is...or else so desparate for money that she would basically destroy her child, family, etc...to get it.

These replies are pitiful.

He's rich, he's weird, he had a bad childhood, the defense didn't prove him innocent, the prosecution failed to prove it's case, the trial was in California, therefore......

He MUST to be guilty!

Well fuck me.........I thought I lived in America. Guess not!

On his final day, he will have to stand before the ultimate Judge, Jury, and prosecutor. No amount of money, greedy Lawyers, or brainwashed fans will be able to help him then. The same goes for O.J. and Robert Blake.

Well, it's not like he had a career, anyway. People have been boycotting his stuff since the "Bad" album, anyway. Like Mike Tyson, all he's doing now is stretching and reaching for unforeseen levels of musical SUCK.
