When you are at work and someone complains about being tired because they woke up like an hour early?  I just think to myself, "you don't know how good you got it"...I'd kill for a full night sleep right now... :-/

I almost flipped out on a co-worker that was complaining about her broken nail when I was still shaking from getting over a cluster...It was close...they probably would've had to call the cops... :-/

But I digressed...

Now, I sleep like a rock since I've been PF on the LSA seeds... ;;D

What really bothers me is hearing "Oh yeah, I get migraines, too" and when you try to explain the difference they get this look like you are just trying to "outdo" them.  I wanna say, "Let's trade, moron"

Actually, the worst one is, "Oh yeah.. I get cluster headaches too," when you know damn good and well that they DON'T! Talking with a coworker's wife who DOES get migraine headaches, and was supposedly diagnosed with "cluster migraines." She has no clue, but INSISTS that she knows what cluster headaches are. Migraines are hellish, no doubt about it, but I wish doctors and neurologists were just a LITTLE better informed, so that their patients wouldn't sound like jackasses.  >:(

The girl I share an office with just said that she has had the "worse headache for the past 15 minutes."   :-/  Yes there are times when murder should be excusable.

Yeah, I was talking with a woman in my office, and she says to me, can they not get rid of those, when I get a migraine, I just take a pill and it goes away...I wanted to bitch slap her right there....there's no point in explaining it over and over again, I just look at her, smile and nod... ::)

They only sound like jackasses to the twisted contingent that calls this place home. To everyone else in the world they would appear to be as smart or smarter than anyone about headaches -- practically experts.

So in the end the phrase "glad to hear you've found something that works for you" becomes one of those shit-eating phrases that you practically have to keep safety-pinned to your tongue. Cause' there just ain't much else can be said to anybody else sometimes.

That's dangerous, because the word "nice" makes your mouth end a phrase with almost a smile. Which the F.U. can leak out the corners of your mouth without noticing. May be better to end with an "oo" vowel as it keeps the lips pursed together and all foul leakage suppressed....

There is one defecient I work with that has a detached retena and has been like that for years. He says he has much worse pain than us every time he walks outside from the light. So I offered him a challange, I would look into a 1000000 candle power light 4 times a day for an hour each time and he has to heat up a icepick and stab it into his eye 4 times a day the rest of his life. he declined. ;;D

Frank, I tell my co-workers that all the time, friends family the little old lady that plays piano at church. It's a great stress reliever and people don't want to talk to you anymore and that's a good thing too.
