Title: OK don't yell at me but I have to tell ya! Post by LadyElaine on Jun 1st, 2005, 10:13am I been doing something for eight months now I have not told anyone. I am going to share it with you all. A lot of you have said I look good and said for me to keep up with what I am doing. I saw this guy on TV. I liked what he said. I bought his book. The mans name is Kevin Trudeau. The Federal Trade Commission has been all over him. He still fights for what he belives. Yes he charges for what he knows. I have slowly changed the way I eat, the air I breath and am DOING AND TAKING a lot of things he talks about. I have done all but stop smoking. I am at the point now that will be my next step. I have cut down to four a day from two packs a day. The stopping point is only a week away. I can not do everything he says, because I don't have that kind of will power. I have done a lot. His book cost about $50 and it cost to get on his website. He tells you what to do and what products to use. Everyone charges it seems about what they know. I feel great !! I still have pains here and there but then again I don't do everything he says to do. I feel so much better. You can read on the net what the Federal Trade Commision has to say about him and others. You can read a lot about him. Make your own conclusions. I have had very few headaches since I started this. I have had No clusters. I have no chest pains any more. I have more energy. I find I can think better, I don't forget things like I use to. I walk one hour a day now. I went from 15 minutes a day to 30 minutes to a hour. I find I am happier ! You all know me. I am not a snake oil salesman. I do like to share what works for me. I belive this guy has helped me. Here is something funny. Buddy bought the same book not knowing I had. He read the book and at first did not believe in it. Then when I showed him my book and what I had been doing, he is willing to try, so we are now walking together. He is going to try some of the things I have. His problem will be giving up certain foods. Don't flame me, if your intrested try it, if not let it be. I just feel good and want to tell why I think I feel good. He might be a quack and I might just be happy and feeling good who knows. LOL Ya'll have a good day Elaine |

Title: Re: OK don't yell at me but I have to tell ya! Post by LadyElaine on Jun 1st, 2005, 3:24pm Thanks Guys, for not jumping me. I am not sure I know how I feel about it all. It could be a lot like the story below. Useful condom Useful Condom Miss Merna, the church organist, was in her eighties and had never been married. She was much admired for her sweetness and kindness to all. The pastor came to call on her one afternoon early in the spring, and she welcomed him into her Victorian parlor. She invited him to have a seat while she prepared a little tea. As he sat facing her old pump organ, the young minister noticed a cut glass bowl sitting on top of it, filled with water. In the water floated, of all things, a condom. Imagine his shock and surprise. Imagine his curiosity! Surely Miss Merna had flipped or something...! When she returned with tea and cookies, they began to chat. The pastor tried to stifle his curiosity about the bowl of water and its strange floater, but soon it got the better of him, and he could resist no longer. "Miss Merna," he said, "I wonder if you would tell me about this?" (pointing to the bowl). "Oh, yes," she replied, "isn't it wonderful? I was walking downtown last fall and I found this little package on the ground. The directions said to put it on the organ, keep it wet, and it would prevent disease. And you know.. I haven't had a cold all winter!" ::) |

Title: Re: OK don't yell at me but I have to tell ya! Post by LadyElaine on Jun 1st, 2005, 5:40pm lLove ya to Jonny! Carol, scrapbooking is going good ! When Dad died Mom got all into wanting pictures. I made her a scrap book of Dad and her and the rest of the family from the day they got married till now. I am now working on four scrap books for my kids. I was doing great until I had printer problems. My colors won't come out right. Peoples faces are purple. I got to figure out whats wrong with my printer to finish. I made a love book for Buddy and I. Its real cute. I got some cute scrapbook templates off the internet. I used little things like a movie ticket and things like that to help make the pages intresting. I been working and JD likes to help. How is your scrapbooking coming? I am on the computer today cause its raining and I can't go walking. JD can't go swimming. It looks like its going to rain all week. So its a great week for inside stuff. Its a week for vegable soup ! I got to go time for the family to get home. |

Title: Re: OK don't yell at me but I have to tell ya! Post by MargaretG on Jun 1st, 2005, 8:04pm Judging by results I'd say this method is working great for you and what else really matters. $50 isn't all that much considering the results you've obtained, you couldn't have joined any health club for that amount for eight months. So, keep on keeping on, Elaine. Ya did good! Glad to see you've been CH free and other pains have gone away, that is enough to make anyone feel much better. How was the veggie soup? We put on a pot of chili this morning to cook while I had a Dr. appt. It really hit the spot as this has been a cool rainy day. Probably be awhile before we have another good chili/veggie soup day. Think cool salads & iced tea. ;;D PS....congrats on the smoking issue. My hubby & I quit together 4 years ago. He had medical help, but I went cold turkey. Working together it seemed easy to us and we wondered why we waited so long! So, stay the course and I'll bet you'll soon be talking of smoking in the past tense. :) |

Title: Re: OK don't yell at me but I have to tell ya! Post by Charlie on Jun 2nd, 2005, 11:28pm Once again, don't buy the book. It's a con. The call ins are not on the level. It's taped and part of the production. He's on a par with Robert Tilton. >:( Can you tell how I feel about this guy? http://www.netsync.net/users/charlies/gifs/red mad.gif He's been selling all kinds of worthless shit on these late night infomercials for several years. The Q-Ray like ion bracelet and junk cosmetics are two examples that come to mind. Charlie http://www.netsync.net/users/charlies/gifs/blunder.png |
