Whelp...the count down is on. I have to be at Presbyterian Hospital at 6am tomorrow for my surgery on both knees. That's for the avascular necrosis I got from taking meds like prednisone. Joy!

I'm having core decompression drilling done on each knee (femoral condyles) and then they will scope the right knee because I have a torn meniscus.

I'm staying overnight for pain control...hope they control it much better than after my last two surgeries! So...whenever I can tolerate being at the computer, I'll give an update. Maybe Dave can also sign on and give an update for me. :)

Just thought I'd let ya all know where I'll be. I'm not looking forward to this one!!!

Braveness deary. Remember recovery time in Ft. Myers. Hope the pain is minimal for you too. :)

but taking it literally, is there EVER a good time to say that? I mean, hacky sack is so 1975!

It was too tough kicking a bean-bag chair to the buddies back then. Played papers, papers, who's got the papers back then and "who in in a f*ck rolled this runner and then spit slobbered it". Hackey-sack meant too many seeds in the bag and was skillfully side-kicked back.

Surgery, recovery, healing: May it all go off without a hitch!

And by the way, hacky sack was NOT 1975. It was 1985! Good grief... (darn kids!) LOL
