It's a gorgeous rhodo, Chris. I'm envious because we can't grow those up here in the frozen tundra. ;;D Great pic.

They are so beautiful too but so short-lived

What exposure and camera did you use? Great pic...I can almost smell the flower.

Actually, it was just a lucky auto exposure using a Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-S75. I took it to see if I'd want to fiddle with manual settings, but it looked kinda cool!

I think you have just sold me on the Sony S-75 ;) But I'm sure it was the photographer and not the camera that took such a great pic.
