Title: Re: OK Now I feel like ROYALTY~~~ Post by LadyElaine on May 20th, 2005, 7:23pm ROTFLMAO Ree! Oh yea. I have three cats, mine don't kill them. They bring them in the house to me and let them go. Ever tried to catch a bird in the house with three dogs and cats running after them. Its a trip. I get birds and Lizards . When they bring a snake in I am leaving !!! I don't have a doogie door. If I open the door they run in with the meal in their mouth. They just drop it. Then the race is on .......never a dull time around here. I like it like that :-)!!! One time we were all watching TV. The out of the corner of my eye I saw something fly by. It happen a couple of nights in a row. Buddy saw it to but it was so fast we couldn't figure it out. Turned out to be a bat. We now have butterfly nets we keep in the house. They are great at catching bees, birds, and lizards and bats LOL! |

Title: Re: OK Now I feel like ROYALTY~~~ Post by Ueli on May 20th, 2005, 8:45pm It belongs to my daily chores to clean up the mess from butchered mice. Some times Jupi lets run the mice, and so I have become quite an expert in setting up mousetraps. BTW, please visit Jupi at http://www.ratemykitten.com/ratemy/kitten?image=182457, http://www.ratemykitten.com/ratemy/kitten?image=203820 and http://www.ratemykitten.com/ratemy/kitten?image=203821 and give him a "10". Thank you :-* Ueli |

Title: Re: OK Now I feel like ROYALTY~~~ Post by LeLimey on May 21st, 2005, 3:48am Oh Ree you are lucky, I get headless mice daily.. yuk. I've also had squirrels and a rat and one bird.. and the flippin cat killed that in the house so there were feathers everywhere and it STUNK! I've just got a new kitten who is doing a really good job of killing my toes so I have a feeling (not in my toe though! ;) ) that the fun isn't going to end! Ueli I voted a ten on all three pics and "1"ed a couple of other's just to up the odds!! (How catty is that?!) |

Title: Re: OK Now I feel like ROYALTY~~~ Post by Bethany1 on May 21st, 2005, 7:47am My moms house is like pet cemetary. She has 3 cats, a dog and a bunch of chickens. The amount of dead things those cats bring home is amazing. Ueli, I gave Jupi three 10's, so cute! ;;D Beth |

Title: Re: OK Now I feel like ROYALTY~~~ Post by Lizzie2 on May 21st, 2005, 9:30am ROFL Ree!! I don't have a cat because my entire family hates them, but I was going to get one in my next apartment. Maybe I should reconsider? Where I will probably move to, we are allowed to have dogs weighing less than 35 pounds. I was thinking of getting a Jack Russell Terrier - it would probably chew up my entire house and then eat me along with it, but they are cute for little dogs! Supposedly my lab should be good at retrieving dead things, but so far...no presents have been brought to our doorstep (except for the gigantic dead deer - but that one got hit on the highway and ran until it collapsed dead at my front door LMAO). At this point, I think Jakey boy is too old to do any hunting. Anyways...hope you got your appetite back and thanks for a little chuckle! I needed that :) Hugz, Lizzie :) |

Title: Re: OK Now I feel like ROYALTY~~~ Post by Kim Y. on May 21st, 2005, 10:20am When I was little I had a cat Sammy that was an orange Tabby that use to bring me birds and mice. One day my sisters hampster got loose in the house. We hunted and hunted for the hampster little did we know so was Sammy. He only wanted to help. He found it sure enough an left him on my floor in my bedroom it was the whole hampter but was in two pieces. [smiley=laugh.gif] At the time it wasn't funny my sister was sad. Another time he tried to catch a baby rabbit and we saved it. My current two cats don't go outside without me. They aren't use to cars and we live in a neighborhood in town so no presents like that just grass "blach" on the carpet. Kim |

Title: Re: OK Now I feel like ROYALTY~~~ Post by Lizzie2 on May 21st, 2005, 10:26am LMAO OK now I'm really starting to think I should just stick with a dog. I forgot about the hairball component - although every now and then my dog gets those, too. Nasty. The worst was kennel cough. He was vaccinated, but he got it anyways during one kennel stay. Oh man...I can still imitate the sound of that "cough" but it makes me go hoarse. I used to have to run out of the room when he would start making the noises because it would make me puke. Poor poor puppy. Too bad labs break the 35 pound rule! |

Title: Re: OK Now I feel like ROYALTY~~~ Post by Margi on May 21st, 2005, 4:50pm Yep, Ree, Moxie's favourite trick was to bring me a headless mouse (what DO they do with the heads? Do I want to know? Nah.). The best one was on Mother's Day, she trapped one and brought it in under our bed, where she proceded to scare the poor thing to death finally. I have an inane fear of mice. Hate 'em. Moxie knows that, too, so she takes great delight in showing me that's she's so NOT afraid of them. I figure it's payback for making her live through all the dogs we've had in her lifetime (she's turning 20 this year). |

Title: Re: OK Now I feel like ROYALTY~~~ Post by Tim_Z on May 22nd, 2005, 12:57am A cat we had would bring me a bird every now and then, he never killed them though. They would fly around the house. Quite the challenge to catch them. I caught him outside once with a bat, it was still alive. He never made into the house with it. Our neighbor would call and give us hell because he used to sit by her bird feeder and catch her birds and bring them home. That cat must have really loved us. |
