Title: TAHITI!!! Post by alienspacebabe on May 17th, 2005, 8:45pm French Polynesia is absolutely amazing. This has to be Eden! I've been on a 4 wheel drive safari into a dormant volcano, swam in the pool at the bottom of a waterfall, snorkeled just inside a barrier reef, toured Huahine and watched huge eels being fed. The first night there was Tahitian dancing. Barely-covered girls (and I do mean girls) - even better, 10 very well muscled tahitian men dancing in g-strings... that got my attention (in case you couldn't have guessed). Tomorrow is Raratonga. We are actually out in the middle of the Pacific Ocean right now, 300 miles from any land.... I am completely pain-free except for the jaw - but they're finding me some interesting, soft things to eat. Last night it was frogs legs... kinda tastes like bland fishy chicken. I won't be reading replies - at $0.50 a minute on here, I can't afford to - but I will try to post again and hopefully have a pic to post. Lizzie, who's not yet sunburned.... |
