Title: OT: I hardly ever ask for... Post by nani on May 14th, 2005, 3:43pm ...prayers and vibes, but I need a few right now. My husband quit his job yesterday. It was the right thing to do...long story, but it involved his boss defrauding the government and embezzeling from big clients. I totally support his need to leave. He is in negotiations for a new job, but nothing has been set in stone. We're OK financially for awhile, but just in case... can you send a "just on a well needed and deserved vacation" prayer? I'm remaining positive, because things always work out exactly the way they're supposed to, but hey...a prayer or vibe never hurts. :) Thanks! |

He is not the type who would normally do something like this. The stress was just wearing him down. He has a permanently droopy eye from it (the doctors have ruled out everything but stress)and his BP was climbing steadily, even on meds. I'm sure it will all be fine, and yes, maybe even better than before. He couldn't continue to associate himself with these illegal and unethical actions. Fortunately, he never had to compromise his own integrity, but just knowing all this was affecting his conscience. So, it's all good. Thanks for the good thoughts and prayers, though...you can never have too much good energy. :) hugs and love to all, nani |
